No but I believe that a company should offer a great product, before asking for more money. But if they prove me wrong I promise them one of these.

Prove me wrong before launch, and i'll throw in a bonus.

In connection with the loss of confidence in the game developers and the transition to another project I ask to give me back the money for previously purchased Phoenix overlord pack.
Best regards
F1ashman.
That's all.

Besides, I like the look that the PP Mechs have.

Damn, there better be some noticeable difference in handling, otherwise it's just a bunch of hardpoints.

The sense of entitlement from people that purchased the Overlord pack saying, "I should get these new ones free" makes me rather sick. You are already getting a pretty damn good deal for the $80 you spent on Overlord. So what if you have to pay for these new additions? PGI had to pay the concept artists and the 3D modellers to make them. This wasn't a 'in their spare time' thing.
Now, I do think this was fairly bad timing on PGI's part. Maybe someone in PR thought that releasing this as an add-on at a reduced cost versus the 'Mechs already in the deals was a good idea to calm the masses down. Maybe this was planned for the moment the concept arts was finished and a date for release was finalized. Unfortunately, the hate is filling the air around their company and that overshadows this announcement. It sullies it because people were only going to see it either as an attempt for appeasement towards the community or, as many more have stated, a dirty cash-grab from PGI. I suspect that if PGI wasn't already on shaky grounds with the 'vocal minority' you wouldn't hear as much of the entitlement "I bought Overlord I should get this free!" or "This is just a cash grab!"

Mr. Lyons, I can appreciate how you feel. That being said, what a really inappropriate time to make a really flippant response on behalf of a company that is soliciting money from consumers. Do you not see how people react to Russ's flippant comments all over Twitter and every other social media he can get his hand on?
It's really unfortunate. You could have expressed pretty much the same sentiment in a more professional manner, taken the moral high ground, and made a positive post. Something along the lines of, "Well, we here at PGI are disappointed that you feel that way, but we're very excited to offer 'mechs that haven't been seen in a MechWarrior game in what...20 years...and look forward to playing them in-game ourselves. Hope to see you there." Instead, you chose to mock the upset feelings of many members of your community while asking them to give you more money. Poor choice, and a decision I would expect from a five year old, not a professional.
I saw the announcement at work, and was coming home to upgrade my Overlord Package. I absolutely DETEST some of the decisions that your company has made with this game, but I'm still willing to give you a chance; haven't demanded a refund or gone off the deep end yet and was willing to give you more money for the 'mechs I love. Your childishness is a small thing, but it's the straw that broke the camel's back for me.
Hope your comment was worth it - you'll not be getting my money for this. And that's a real shame, because you all clearly worked hard on it and I am excited about it. I simply refuse to reward asinine behavior anymore. Sorry.

At least it's not a Federal reserve note.

But PGI's canadian so you'll need one of these!

I am doing between 400 and 700 damage in my medium mechs per match and getting a winning match score of anywhere from 75 to 125. But hey, mediums are as you say, gimp. I should be doing much better than that in them.

And I think these "cash grabs" are necessary in order t facilitate a better game. If you don't want to support the game, hey, good for you, does this mean that people that are like minded as you should try to convince others from supporting this game? No, of course not, without people supporting this FREE game, there would be no game at all, and that would make a lot of BT lovers like myself very sad.

If you can only use 2 of the 4 founders mechs and think the other 2 mechs are {Scrap}, you must not be very good at this game, that being said, of course they want us to spend our money on Phoenix packs, and quite honestly it's a damn good deal.

In order to earn your trust, they must have done something to break it, considering this game is still in beta, the only person that broke your trust is yourself. Being beta does indeed mean they can do whatever they want to the game whenever they want to do it without having to tell us anything because it's BETA.
As far as 3PV goes, it's the crappiest game mechanic to grace this game thus far, and everyone QQ'ing over it are nothing but mouth breathers, because if they were worth their weight in salt in the intelligence department they'd understand that it's a useless mechanic that offers up NO ADVANTAGE. Oh, you disagree with me, and think it DOES offer up an advantage? Lets see you best me on the battlefield trying to take advantage of it, see how far that gets you, ha.

Well, that made my decision easier.
Until now I was thinking about whether giving them one last chance - and to get the new package, or to go for a refund on phoenix. Thanks for making it easy.
