So we are getting two more 55 tonners that looks as big as heavies (and their hitboxes will be this big, those arms are ticker than the ones of an Atlas!!) so that an overlorder has to spill out 30 more $? Again no thanks..

While I like how the Griffin looks, they both appear to be XL Engine death traps. Mediums that cannot run XLs and aren't useful zombies, either, are at a serious disadvantage. I doubt I will upgrade, especially with my confidence and respect for PGI being at something of a low ebb since the 3pV fiasco (It's advantages are minor at best, but that isn't the point). But I love Griffin's too much not to buy a cbill one in December.

The GRF-3M & WVR-7K are both from 3052. Is that a typo?

Well I am going to wait till december to buy a c bill variant, because I will have more than enough mechs to focus on with the overlord package. I am worried about the size of these mechs, becuase if they are heavy mech sized, yet have large side torso's it will be hard to have a weapons heavy load out while going stock speed or faster. I do like the wolverine's hardpoint's so I will still look forward to these mechs coming out.

The Master Unit List shows the Griffin as 3049 and the Wolverine as 3050.

How much money does PGI expect me to spend on this game? I have to stop but this package looks pretty cool. Oh PGI, you know how to tug on my heart strings.

Wow, after all the lies and misrepresentations, PGI has the gall to ask Overlord buyers to shell out 30 more dollars.

I have to admit, these Canadians have a big set on 'em!

Please, please, please tell me that banner picture is not to scale... If it is these two new mechs are as big as the Thunderbolt and much larger than the equally weighty Shadowhawk...

Oh and no, I'm not upgrading for 2 more mechs... I've been debating a refund as is, so...

Those guys look awesome, but after forking over $80 for the Phoenix, I might sit this one out. Wolverine's one of my favorites, but spending over $100 on a single computer game is starting to push it.

They do not ask you to do anything, they offer somthign else. In the end even if you dislike some things they do they need to make cash or game is dead.

Besides that 30$ for 6 mechs 2 of which with bonus is good considering cost of hero mechs. And me being a medium polit, 3 mediums in this pack that are ones I truly love is amazing.

While they may end up being oversized, I think it safe to assume that the banner is not to scale. Just look at the Locust, do you really think at 20 tons it is going to be that large compared to those other mechs.

As far as the package. I think it is probably as good or better investment than buying $30 worth of premium time and 6 mech bays because you probably couldn't buy 6 additional mechs with the extra C-bills you would earn from the premium time you could buy.

Lastly you will have 3 month delay to get those two mechs. C-bill versions of the Griffin comes out in Feb and Wolverine in March so it might be worth it just to get the mechs early, especially since your getting bays as well.

Still I am a bit disappointed it didn't include another 30 days premium or some more swag of some type.

Some napkin math based on the Kintaro (the only 55 ton mech at the moment and the hunchback the only medium with a champion) a Champion 55 ton mech would cost 2315 MC, 2 of them would be 4630. Add in the other variants and I figure 7340 MC for 4 55 ton variants. This totals 11970 MC. If you add in the bays it is 1800 extra (though the mechs cannot be sold, so the bays do not theoretically have full value) to make a grand total of 13770 MC to equal this package. So yes, technically it's a good value because right now to equal that much MC would cost ~$65 USD.

I really would not put this past them lately...That picture suggests something the size of the Cicada (Figuring the Battlemaster is roughly as tall as a atlas) for a Locust. Would that really be a strange result compared to the Quickdraw or Kintaro?

This Saber Reinforcement thing only makes me want a Project Phoenix refund even more. Again you buy something and they change it on you after you already spent the money. So now if I want the complete Project Phoenix set I have to spend an additional $30.00 to get the new additions. As I am no longer giving PGI any more money I am stuck with the choice of have an incomplete set of Project Phoenix mechs or canceling my Project Phoenix preorder altogether. What to do...

I don't really understand your comment... you have to have all of them or none of them? that's not really pgi's problem that's yours.

I will be giving the saber a pass as I am not really a medium mech guy, however it does not offend me that its offered. if people want to get them they can.

Before we all start going crazy over the new Sabre Package, I'd like to point out that the Wolverine cannot fit a PPC in the head...

Wasn't planning on spending any more on this game for awhile, but this extra package came out the day before I got a bonus at work so I'm paying off a credit card and spending $30 on myself. What is funny is that the Overlord package came out the same week I got my Tax refund back. How do they know when disposable income hits my bank. The NSA is American not Canadian right.
