I did same thing, months ago (was tired of balance, netcode issues and PGI false promises)
BTW, this should be a simulation game...3PV is for arcade and casual games. As many people say, I don't want TPV at all, and I voted that...but separate queues would be better than nothing...

I have not uninstalled yet, but I did stop paying and playing two patches ago, I still got one drop to do and if that does not help I will be heading over to MWLL too, I think they might get quite populated after MWO goes Mech Assault for the PS4 or Xbox crowds.

Obviously there's not much to do in the hangar yet... but the CryEngine 3 SDK lets you have some more fun.

It is such a rare sight, that someone uses it...and even after several weeks of PGI putting it into the game, people in trial mechs ask, how to switch it of.
Yes, it CAN be beneficial from time to time (spotting the enemy team, teeling your mates if they go upper or lower city), but because you can't really mark targets and only visually see them, It's not that big of a deal. And if that tiny Spider lingers behind the building 1500m away, or is s small dot on it 1500m away, is not such a big difference.
I accept, taht people are pissed because of PGI lying about it, but the game has several problems that are bigger and more important to the game. The only thing that is sad is the amount of work that has been put into making 3PC coul've been put into CW or other features. This is the only thing, that really bugs me about it.

3rd person point of view was a horrible idea for this game. If not for the balance issues, which apparently is some how debatable... but for the aftermath it causes. Now that we have it, and now that we're stuck with it... how do you deal with it? It just created a mess, not worth it.

I quit playing this game when forced 3PV was introduced, and I'm done playing until I can joint a 1PV only publich queue.
Of course idiocy like the PPC triple-nerfs and GR "Ghost Recycle" might burn me out even with 1PV queues added.

Saying that players coming to Mechwarrior expecting and hoping for a mech sim are the minority couldnt be more far from the truth.
That goes for the bt fans of the last few decades, the 5 mechwarrior video games and new players hoping for something not a crappy fps shooter clone.
