You're just lucky that they accept PP refunds, but lord knows what would happen if people sued PGI over not giving refunds for products not received.

Sure. Have you seen the new PP announcement? Judging by the thread, people are still showing their wallets to PGI... so perhaps people still like spending money like gambling people keep betting in a casino.

I voted separate queues although I'd rather see 3PV removed completely.

At least with separate queues I know that I will be playing with like minded people that want as close as possible battletech experience or a sim feel (even if it isn't a true sim).

Kudos for making this fair unbiased poll, hopefully PGI will throw away their poor attempt and pay attention to this one instead.

I give up I still don't understand. I might be just too old. I miss the times when making games was a lot less about the need to make 10s of millions of dollars with them. I really do. Maybe I should just go out and give more money to indie devs. At least there come some fresh ideas and it's about them making their vision a reality and not about catering to any virtual crowd that might just make them some more dollars.

it's like with everything Wolfways, you seeme to be very active here for the last few days.
so maybe you should get out, play some other games (older MW games maybe, if you can, i totally would if i wasn't so lazy to get them working)
anyway, it helps me a lot to stay away from stuff that sets me up for no reason, at least for a few days

It's elementary: Separate mixed and 1PV-only queues. Period. Anything else is just getting the finger from PGI. Again. Oughta be used to it by now, I suppose.

I voted for separate, but I have to be honest I've yet to see anyone even remotly use 3pv during active combat in all the sorties I've had since it's introduction it's impracticaliy and broken state renders it almost completly useless in but the rarest and isolated moments, I guess it's like a bening wart that suddenly sprang up on your body.

Still would prefer separate queus since that was what we were promised.

After reading most of this I really do not see what the big deal is with 3pv, OMG he saw me from around the building with his drone... most people in matches do not talk so unless you are in a group with headsets it does not help much. 3pv really has no advantage then being able to see things around a corner or over a hill. Your targeting is messed up, you have no map, and you can see the little blinking light. But I do see it is a major point of contention with the community as a whole. So offer solutions to it other then "Take it out" or "do not allow 3pv in MY match".

A good idea i saw was to make it a module that could be destroyed. That is a good idea you have to equip it to use it and if it gets shot then it goes boom. Make is so flamers and machine guns could take them out easy and it would give a reason for those weapons to be used.

Another idea would be to make it have fuel like the jump jets. It does not get the fuel back when docked and has like a 1 minuet fuel supply, after which it docks and you can not use it again for that match. I mean come on it is a small little thing and if 3pv was for you then you could buy modules to make it fly longer.

Another idea is to make it a Pilot Training skill. Make it simple to get like 2000 GXP with the 1 min timer restrictions, a module that can be linked with other modules to make it a good scouting tool. One for zoom, one for extra fuel, one for thermal, one for night vision, one for extra high it flies, you can make a whole slue of addons to it that would take time to unlock and would not over power it.

If they bring back Repair and Reload make it so you have to repair the drone and refuel the drone. As it is I see more people not using the drones for other then making sure they do not get their head blown off. It is kind of the same as when you hear people cry about LRM's being overpowered or ECM is a cheap unit, People kept playing after saying they were going to quit if they did not "fix" them. In the long run we should only have our selves to blame about not wanting to adapt to things and things being unfair. This is a game and if you do not like the way it is going, and you feel like the people that control the game are not listening to you then leave. You will affect them more that way then by complaining about it and then still playing.

Back because my wife (Lishta) said someone had said something to me, and unlike some people i don't ignore people.

I'm always active of forums when i'm in a beta. With most companies that's the point of a beta. I wanted MWO to succeed so much but it's obvious PGI don't give a **** what players think.
Right now i just wish MWO would die out and PGI never found work again, and i've never thought that about any company, even if i hated the game.

So it seems while I was having my dinner they closed their poll, and are pushing ahead with it as expected.

That was a very short poll was it not? Did it even manage 24 hours?

Well as it stands I get the funny feeling we are about to see how far the compartmentalization can go. "Over 90% wanted first person only 12v12. Wait what? a poll where over 90% didn't want third person at all? oh that was clearly a minority, on an island! Totally not the same thing! even though it had more total votes."

Does this island serve desert Island Cocktails? some rum sounds good to me.
