As Paul mentioned, they are aggressively tuning weapons as they head towards launch. With that said, I urge PGI to test the following changes on the test server…
Small Laser
Long Range: Increase range from 90 to 120 meters.
Max Range: Increase range from 180 to 240 meters.
Small Pulse Laser
Long Range: Increase range from 90 to 100 meters.
Max Range: Increase range from 180 to 200 meters.
Flamer
Long Range: Increase range from 64 to 90 meters.
Max Range: Increase range from 64 to 120 meters.
These weapons have taken a back seat so to speak in terms of balance and can definitely use some love by PGI. To make these weapons more effective for hit-n-run tactics, slightly increasing the range should do the trick. These changes are not game breaking and worth testing.

You forgot MPL and LPL.
Otherwise that seems OK, except I think the Flamer is a special case for reasons beyond my understanding.

Speaking of range buffs for lasers, the MPL should be at ~210m/420m (standard/max range) and the LPL should be around 390m/780m.

I agree with the first two, the flamer though needs more than that. It's a good start though.

Yep pulse lasers in general in a little more incentive for people to use them. Either add range or trim the weight just a bit.. e.g. MPL at 1.5 tons LPL at 6.

Flamer needs a damage or heat buff. At the moment they don't do enough of either to be worth taking.

Flamers have always been less than exciting weapons, even in TT.
Small lasers have always been the super-short range weapons as well.
That said, I don't see a huge problem with these range buffs, but the really aren't going to do much of anything.
Still, SPLs can be deadly when used right.

Seconding this. Combined with OP, would be about perfect.
Except for flamer. It fails for many, many reasons, and range is the least of them.
