What I've found is that my LRM support Quickdraw is actually a huge farmer. Its very fast, I can move around the battlefield quickly and rack up on spotting bonuses, tag enemies and grab some assists. Notice that I only got 2 kills (which is actually pretty good for this build) and relatively low damage. 180 k Cbills without premium time.

To pull in those numbers on some of my assault mechs, even my hero Heavy Metal, I need to dish out ridiculous amounts of damage and make a number of kills. Something to think about anyways.

Check it out:

You let the cat out of the bag. lol

Now we'll see a thousand quickdraws trying to do this.

you happened to get quite a few savior kills too which really helped. but you can't depend on thos for cash farming.

i used to get those #'s in an average match without even trying before they nerfed incomes.

TAG BOAT OP NEEDS NERF

Seriously, though, nice farming tactic. I could see a team doing this if they can give each other spotting assists.

Are you actually NARCing or just tagging too?

I had a TAG, no NARC. Although now that you mention it, I wonder if you could double up on the bonus if you were able to tag and NARC someone?

Make sure to click the "Player Stats" up at the top (highlighted in yellow in the screenshot) to view these stats.

KTO-18 can do it just a well or better, thing is to get that payout your team needs to win or kill those mechs. Lately seems harder to see that in pugs, gotta be a fast lrm in pugs or you are done fast cause you are left alone.

I prefer doing so with my Catapult C1, with LRM 15's, TAG, 2 LLs and Jump Jets to seal the deal.

From the looks of it, there's plenty of profit from Savior Kills, which are easily amassed since all you need to do is to score an assist on someone who's dealt damage on a critically damaged mech recently, even if it was just brushing a laser across a damaged light. As an indirect fire support, you should be touching multiple targets oten, depending on who has a solid lock and as such, racking up the assists + Savior kills can make the difference when compared to direct fire, since unlike us, can't touch enemies behind cover.

It looks to me like a lot of the "bonus money" you get is from Savior Kills and Spotting Bonuses. You can't really count on getting those reliably when you're pugging.

Yeah - when I need extra money or need to grind up GXP, I run my LRM boats. By their very nature, you're going to rack up the assists and will likely get a couple kills and blow parts off. The trick is having enough ammo to stay relevant in 12v12 well into the game.

Staying relevant with LRMs throughout the match requires 4 tons ammo per LRM20, 3 tons per LRM15, 2 tons per LRM10 and 1 ton per LRM5. This is assuming you survive. You can get by with a lot less if you're dead in the first 5 minutes. :)

I have a Jenner with Beagle and an LRM5 with 2 tons ammo. It's a great combo.
