Thanks! I'd fight alongside you anytime deux.

It takes different people different amount of time (some people years) to figure out that these devs don't know us, most of us, personally and so it isn't some personal slight or vendetta as to why a person doesn't get in. Just luck of the draw in the majority of cases. In others they know who they need so they pick them.

Lol, I'm not mindless, I just think paul is the most awesome game dev ever and this is my generally humerus way of proclaiming my support to his awesome trolling and community support.

I have applied to every beta I can find for the last several years. I'm going to make a safe estimate of 30 games so far. I've gotten into 1.

The WoW Mist of Panderia beta. I only got in because I'm paying for a year of the game to GET a beta key.

I have no luck, so I'll be waiting with you =D

i think it is fair to say we have all belonged to a few betas....and our share of forums, but i have never before seen this much interaction by the devs on forums and i love it, then you throw in that the pres of the company pops on here as well....come on does it get any better then that. makes me proud to be a Canadian. LOL <whispers now throw a fellow canuck a beta invite sheesh> lol

I've seen a lot of devs interact with their playerbase as they're gearing up for CBT/OBT. It's not entirely uncommon.

I have to say that the Devs here are being far easier to communicate with then any game I have ever seen before.

Sometimes it seems we are all shopping/eating at a Family owned establishment where customers get good personal treatment.

OP, to use your analogy of opening an ice cream shop... Some people get free ice cream at the beginning.

That ice cream may or may not contain broken glass.

Is it REALLY that much of a privilege to get possibly-broken-glassed ice cream? Because if you get ice cream with broken glass, you're expected to pick every last bit out of your cone, and tell the proprietors where you found every last bit. Granted, you get the free ice cream... but is it really going to taste so sweet after you picked broken glass from it?
