Yes, I implied that they weren't doing jack ****...You're right.
NO, what I said is that they obviously do not have the manpower to do what they said they would do, in the time they wanted to do it. I understand that they may be doing their best, but if they are truly a cooporation that cares about a quality product, then these things that they are still having problems with would not still be issues.
Looking back, I think I can map out how I felt about the explanations coming from various sources as to the lack of game content....
November last year = General optimism and a naive belief that the devs would actually be able to do at least SOME of the things they mentioned here:
http://mwomercs.com/...s-next-for-mwo/
February = When absolutely ZERO progress had been made on any of the above mentioned features I accepted the old "it takes time/they're working on it/it's a difficult thing to progam these features into the game" line.
June = The realisation that this game is not going to be ANYTHING LIKE the game that they promised us. Around this time I attributed the failure to basically PGI biting off more than they can chew.
September = The plethora of purchasable material that has been successfully added to the game when juxtaposed to the absolute failure to provide ANY new features leads me to believe that either PGI or IGP (or both) are just in it for as long as they can milk every last cent out of the community.
I'm willing to concede that "That Guy" may be right about the HSR problems/DivX/etc etc problems causing at least some delays in content but the fact that they are two weeks from LAUNCH and to have provided ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the way of new features in OVER A YEAR has led me to believe in some pretty wild explanations as to why we are where we are right now.
