My Hunchback 4-H is a beast, 1 AC/20 with 4 tons of ammo, 5 medium lasers and 1.07 heat efficiency means (with proper piloting skill) I don't overheat too often.

One thing I didn't see noted when I was skimming this thread is that lighter 'Mechs with big gas guns are going to become a lot more strategically viable when tonnage limitations hit. Those AC/20 Blackjacks everyone's laughing at right now? Yeah - when those become a weight gain to your team whilst still carrying a giant light-legging face-crushing doomcannon, they'll suddenly be a lot more important.

I actually foresee the BJ-1 becoming reasonably popular with premades once tonnage restrictions hit. You get, very literally, two of them for the price of one Highlander, and two Boomjacks working in close coordination could be as potentially dangerous as a Boomjag is now. You certainly won't want to turn a corner and find one of the in your face unless you're a brawling assault, and even then the little sucker'll put some dents in your face you'd rather not have there if he knows what he's doing.

You just wait for it. Tonnage restrictions will do what no amount of agility tweaking will manage - we will see all the mediums in play when that shizznit hits the flizzoor.

AC/20 Jagermech-S, put an XL 280 in it or larger, you are guaranteed aat least 400+ dmg a game, if you use it right

Orion. Easily one of the best old-style brawlers when using an AC20. If anyone is wondering an old-style brawler follows this equation.

AC20/LB10X AC + ASRM4 + ML = Profit.

I love my black jack dc, with modules and fast fire it gets the ac20 cool down below 2.5 seconds also you have 4 ML's as back up, all that with 60% accl/deccl.

Well… you could run a AC20 firestarter, too. no one expects them. Or just be a cheapskate and buy a UM-R60L. done deal. no one expects stock urbies to deal 300 damage. no one.

experiments with the AC20 Locust are rumoured to have failed. Otherwise i would be bragging about it.

@BoomCada: try 4 PPCs with one and get into their back :)
