This debate is already a moot point in my honest opinion. Our enjin faction site isn't about organizing the faction itself in a leadership or structural manner.

Its more about organizing a community if anything.

My post was not meant to criticize your nobel efforts in creating a community center. My point is, if someone wants a House Leader, well, we are only getting Company Comanders. Outside of that, it's the wild west, so why not just form up your companies and let those crazy enough to want to try to be a HL speak for themselves.

Unknown at this time, although if you drop together you'd be in-mission together. It depends on how the devs set up matchmaking really.

Signed up on the Enjin site. Good idea to have a central non-public base for organization (even if that isn't the final site).

The other factions/merc corps are going to be doing the same thing if they haven't already. It'll be critical to coordinate efforts where all the affiliated units can check in and assist on drops if we can't get numbers for a mission at a specific time. In addition, different groups can launch missions for different planets at different times depending on availability/timezone while coordinating with Command.

Is there a Marik teamspeak/mumble server up for voicecomms? Might be a good idea for field coordination.

This is a tentative yes for the short term.

This is an absolute yes for the long term.

Howdy guys, the Marik site set up with this OP is a fun place so far. Hopefully it'll stay that way. I would like to re-iterate the goal here is not 'leadership' of the faction.
The goal of the website is to facilitate people coming together into lances and companies. If your lance/company is active on the site more players will be exposed to you, enhancing your recruitment. If you don't have a lance or company, come by the site and hang out, meet people to drop with, and maybe find a lance company IF that's your thing. If not, well I plan on dropping with many of the active members of our site!

I'm sure the game will have features like this. If you don't mind, please post your lance with your friends on the forums on the House website simply so we'll have a better idea of all the lances and companies that will be available.

Site has great potential and I know once we get going it will be a great resource for Marik. If you already have a site for your Lance/Company/Unit post here so we can have a central location to find all the units in the Marik faction.

I know I'm a Merc but Gun Special Squadrons serves House Marik; is it ok for myself and any other of GSS who want to register at the site/forum if they want too?

You can go ahead and register if you're going to be working primarily for House Marik. If you want to make a thread about it in the Lances subforum, go ahead.

As a community leader of an FPS gaming community for over 4 years I thought I would add a bit to assist you in this venture. Most Official Sites are never free sites...to restricting on what you can do with them. Web hosts like Host Gator are fairly inexpensive to set up and run and you can choose your CMS (Joomla, Drupal, Nuke etc) to do more and have more freedoms with your site. As with any Website or VOIP( Teamspeak) communications security is paramount, you have to protect your members. The list goes on and on about running a community site and VIOP but simply put its hard work. Have a meeting in your Teamspeak and find out who has knowledge and hopefully work in the fields of coding, web security, graphics, webdesign, and lastly administration. Use their abilities to your sites advantage, and be not just another site but a Great House site. If I can assist in this venture feel free to PM me and I will gladly assist as I have done for hundreds of other community sites that still are up and running over the years.

The silver hawks are only at half a company we need more members, thus far all members are founders but it is not required. We are all east coast time zone, and we will be playing in the evening exact time are not set up yet, we have already started to talk about mech customization, and combat roles. If you are looking for a group of die hards look no father.
