Could the recycle time be dropped from 4s to 2.5 sec or 3 sec?

I am guessing you need to make it in the appropriate subthread, but will defer to the many much wiser than me.

Seeing this is a real issue that needs to be looked into I will add my 2 cents. The Gauss Rifle currently has a .75 second charge up time plus its 4 second recycle time, Please consider reducing the recycle time to 3.25 seconds to keep the overall duration of the Gauss Rifle to a 4 second recycle time.

I have no idea. It must be a bug, too. I didn't realize I was on my girlfriend's account when I posted this.

Ya the dps drop is significant... but a slight buffer to the recycle time will fix this!

I agree - the gauss so sexy.. i love the sound effect. I kind of prefer the old projectile look tho..

Ya, I had a few friends trying out my mechs (trying to recruit them to mwo lol) and they found it overwhelming.. the charge is really counter-intuitive.. Momoko hates the gauss - it's too much to grasp along with range, speed, torso-movement.
In a way though, it does raise the skill cap of using the gauss.. but unfortunately, because of the harsh dps nerf with this charge up, being skillful at using this new gauss doesn't reward you. High skill = high rewards? Low skill = low rewards?
