Rest of the books were fun though, except Young Zaphod Plays it Safe - which is exactly what it says it is.

Only Armored Core experience I have is playing a game that was so buggy and generic I understand why the fans were raging over it.

Wow; that sucks, but I geuss it goes to show that you dont force people to do something they dont want to do.

What I'm concerned about is that the Armored Core games are often very vague or confusing in story. I hope the movie fixes that.

I mean geez, AC4 had no tangible story, AC1-AC: Last Raven you got the whole story through emails and text messages, and in Verdict Day I played through half the game thinking the main character is Fat Man until I realized Fat Man is actually your operator (someone who talks to mech pilots over the radio to provide mission support) because he starts addressing you directly.

It doesn't help either that every protagonist in every AC game is totally silent, and that all the mech pilots are known by code names like "Fantasia", "Apple Boy", "Hustler One" or "Red Eye" rather than their real names.

So yeah, I'll watch it no matter how bad the reviews say, but I hope they can hire a good writer for it.

All we know is the protagonist is a woman code named Sparrow and it takes place at the end of the Armored Core 3 timeline.
