You'll love the current version even more, they buffed space planes so you can actually make said craft go inter-planetary in vanilla. That and aerodynamics are actually working now.

Since I'm becoming an Airframe and Powerplant Technician (airplane mechanic) and all this is sure to fascinate me. Thanks for the update.

Add it to your wishlist on Steam, it goes on sale from time to time. It is indeed a very fun and frustrating and insane game! Ive had some great flights and some fantastic launchpad failures...

I have a Aerospace craft that i modeled after the SparrowHawk.


The very first version of it I made, required what was more or less a pair of Atlas V boosters strapped to the back. It wasn't strong enough to leave Kerbin under its own power, but it could get around on other worlds just fine. But this was back before they did any major Space Plane related updates.
