But don't you know? Laser beams are naturally attracted to anything Zeon! It's called the Law of Zeonic Convergence.

How it works is anything made by Zeon has a negative-particle field emitting from it as a side effect of its space fascism. This causes any and all mega-particle beams to bend towards the souce of the negative-particle field, which in this case, is anything Zeon related.

The opposite effect, called the Main Character Shield Effect, applies to anyone under the age of 18 piloting a suit with a golden V on its forehead.

Ask XphR, we can't shoot our laser pistols around his plastic Zaku models anymore because no matter what we aim at they always get hit and make pink explosions.
