Guys whats all the complaints about?

MWO is a great game, every month we get a nerf here, a buff there, some bug fixes,
a new game mode and map once in a blue moon.
and a new mech every 5 or so weeks!!!!

we are moving forward in playing the battletech game we all know and love
if we stay patient and keep playing

in the future when the Clans arrive...

We can proudly say, I was a beta tester in this game, then teach our grandchildren how to leg those MadCats (I'm IS so sue me)

I personal think the release date was set due to the terms of conditions for some loan someone signed or grant received stating a product by such and such time. So this is what we got.

The issue is that PGI keeps moving dates for key features further and further back. We had CW expected 90 days after closed beta. Then Q1 2013. Then Q3/4 2013. Now it's sometime next year.

edit: i am gud at redding rigte guise?

Well hello and grats on the launch. I'm fairly new to this game, been playing for a week now and I have to say I like it. What must be said that it lacks gamemodes and features that should be available with this vast background, the Battletech universe. I hope you really can improve these aspects and expand it to the grand game it could/should be. The upcoming CW and UI2.0 sounds promising, let's see how this turns out in the end.

Reading all the comments of veteran users here makes me kind of sad, I really do hope it is not as bad as the majority states it is.

Best wishes for the future.

Well, the launch trailer was nice, and I see they got Celestial to do it. It does make me sad to think that the grace period has run out. Even staunch supporters are going to expect the awaited features to materialize on-time now that beta is over.

Ha, they just disabled comments on the youtube launch trailer. I guess some people can't deal with criticism.

But the video is great!

Why did they not use this as an intro to the game in a full uncompressed 1080p - would have been really cool. If people has opened up to this after the patch in full HD (not compressed You Tube rubbish) at least this would have got the blood pumping a bit.

Because apparently the video was made by a fan, and features footage from closed beta.

honestly..no sarcasm no flame..but this is rather poor for a Launch Day patch...on your launch day you are supposed to impress, to make an impact. this patch is sadly just more of the same...

in any case good luck with Launch..

on the patch notes..THANK GOD for the uac5 nerf..the buff ine the previous patch was completetely unnecessary to begin with...the ac2 tweaks are fine.. i know people keep complain about it but the keepo forgeting its a weapon easily boated by some chassis with a pretty high range and DPS...flamer tweaks are also welcome..

some good changes...but not good enough for launch day..

and what about the freaking HIGHLANDER TUBES!?!?!?

the game didnt even launch. Nothing came out new, just reports of things being pushed back that have been promised since the beginning of beta.

We have always thought we were going to do Community Warfare in 2014. We have always been at war with Eastasia.

Congrats PGI on launching a quite entertaining product! I wish I could be at the party. I'm sure the reviews will be good, so far this is better than any other MW multiplayer game, and your attention to the wishes of the players has been great. I hope to lose many more hours in this game in the future.

If a tree falls in the forest... ~sigh. Nope, they don't, and I was told they would.

And if I get into a forest map and blue rectangles show up for trees in the distance I will be very disappointed. Not to happy about that.

It's a nice patch and all, but what exactly makes it a 'Launch'? I fail to see it. Call me an optimist, but I was actually hoping there would be some kind of surprise to herald the launch.

To keep in line with my opinion that critizism should always be constructive, this is what I would have liked to see:
- The first step of Community Warfare.
- At least one more map. Only 8 unique maps is a bit on the thin side.
- A new game mode, preferably one that focuses combat instead of capturing bases.
