haha, not even a new map or *any* surprise. Best launch ever. I need to catch up on breaking bad tonight anyway.

I was kind of hoping that every player that registered and played during the "Beta" stage of MWO would get a free Hero Urbanmech at launch.

Keep the trials as champions until you finally get together a viable new player experience.

This cannot be repeated and stressed enough.

The rest of the patch...ugh. You couldn't even come up with any kind of promo action for the launch?

edit: I stand corrected, you did come with the ordinary pattern sale for one mech just like every other month. Good job...

I was hoping that CW would have been out 90 days after closed beta.

You don't even get the bonus XP for running champions.

Instead of the current system, why not just have trial mechs be customizable, they just leave your garage (leaving behind the parts you added to them) when they get cycled?

Although i really hope this game survives long enough to prosper, i wasn't really expecting much from "removal of beta tag day".


However, this means that many angry gold founders and rabblers (people who just hate) will now visit metacritic and drown it in zeros............

Not sure the jam rate is enough, but that's an improvement, and the ROF needed to be changed for the non-jamming, so well done. AC2 fix might help, but the heat is still screwed up when you fire with the rapid fire skill.

But hey, it's an improvement, and there are some bug fixes. Thanks.

I'm personally annoyed the Stalker is no longer a trial mech, I was XPing it, but I'll live.

It's a marked step forward to have all trial mechs be in a somewhat optimal state. Now you can actually get a feel for a mech before making a purchase. If you were able to customize trials, there would really be little incentive to buy your own.
