The only 1 thing that I wanted on Launch is UI 2.0 but....

A few annoying bugs fixed, but most of the weapons changes were either unnecessary or stupid. The ludicrous economics haven't been touched, their latest sales have been completely unappealing, no new features or maps at launch... I really hope that money you've been drumming up is going to some super secret ultra patch with tons of really awesome stuff due out with Project Phoenix because this is easily one of the worst "launches" I've ever seen for a game.

This 'launch' is another insult. Do you not even think you should have done something special even if you weren't able to actually achieve it. An apology with the OP should tell us what you wanted to do but why you couldn't...

At least attempt to try and win your communities trust back...

Was hoping for a bit more in the patch, but the UAC5 changes make me happy enough. The cooldown change is very welcome. No need to macro them now.

Up next, SRM hit detection fixes, please? :rolleyes: Want my Kintaro to be worth a damn!

Apparently I'm the only person with reasoned expectations... It's been know for at least a week the launch was going to be underwhelming and for anyone to feign disappointment is at best being disingenuous.

And if you were so over-reaching with your optimism that PGI was actually carrying out a ruse and planned to drop some surprises on us... You folks set yourselves up for disappointment and I have no empathy.

Am I disappointed... absolutely. I like all all of you had high expectations in light of their forecast road-map to launch... which sadly, PGI has yet again driven straight into a light pole for no apparent reason.

That said... the over-acting drama-queen rage in this thread is deafening...

Well maybe this is just what they did with the Patch? Maybe they've given us things for Launch they haven't mentioned? Yes I know it;s probably not the truth but one can imagine many great things..like 10-12 meter tall battlemechs striding across alien battlefields? We'l lsee in an hour or two I guess.

Wait, did April 1st come early, because this has got to be the biggest joke ever played on a gaming community. This is almost as bad as the War Z launch fiasco.

Being an IT professional as a trade I have always given PGI the benefit of the doubt as I know exactly the hurdles involved in designing a piece of software such as this, not to mention all the hardware setup and maintenance an endeavor like this game entails. That said... Wow. Just wow. This is a terrible launch. You've added NOTHING of substance for your spectacular launch. oooooo ahhhh the beta tag was removed. While I love running around in a mech and I love the battletech universe this game is seriously stale. There is zero purpose to dropping other than just duking it out. you don't even have really any game modes to choose from. I might as well play a game with at least SOME immersion and purpose to it. Launching without UI 2 and CW makes your launch and game pathetic. I have been on the internet since 93, played every single battletech game made, beta tested hundreds of titles. Out of all of them this is the most epic fail of a launch I have experienced. Never felt so underwhelmed. HORRID LAUNCH PGI, EPIC FAIL!

EDIT should have been "how you say it" not "what you say"
