Well, it would probably be more worthwhile than the Operation 24 thing that I wanted no part of. Even the Razer Dice had a lot more thought put into it (marketing, despite the fail spelling in the inventory at the moment).

So if they actually do implement all of these things, why is that so awful? What exactly was everyone expecting? It sounds like it includes most of the ideas people have been saying they wanted. I'm not trolling, but seriously, I don't see what the big problem is.

The only problems I see is:

1.) Casual players want to play the game/mechs they want, and don't want to pay extra for mechs just because they are not in faction. It already takes WAY too long to grind a mech to master now. Plus, does this influence the MC price? Sure hope not, but then isn't that unfair to those buying with CBs? Plus, how many people already have a stable of 30+ mechs? It's unclear how this will really work.

2.) I sure hope that players can participate in the game and have access to pretty much all content without having to be a serious league player and/or listen to some self-important geek who wants to lord it over players who don't play as much. Teamwork is good, forced obeisance to other players is bad.

Edit: cool to see people playing the game, but watching all the people, I feel like I'm watching the Big Bang Theory...

I think CW Phase 1 being 14 months late means that a lot of the white knights will leave, actually.
