Well, I have to say two things. One, I think many of us WANT to like this game. I loved MW2 through MW4. So I really want to love this game, especially since it is the first MW game in a long time. So, I know that is why I still come around the forums and such from time to time, to see if they've fixed the game.
2, I guess we each have our own opinions. I think this game is horrendously unfriendly to the casual crowd because the grind is too harsh and the prices too high. Not to mention that without respawns and just because of other game design decisions, a coordinated team will absolutely wipe the floor with a PUG everyday.
Anyway, I have quit playing, but like I said, I keep hoping it will get better. Regardless, you're right. Some people get way too angry over this and it's not worth it, it's just a game.

Most everyone here complaining has spent money here. Many quite a lot. It seems you have taken a politicians approach to dissent and just exclude them. That only works for a while unitl the gates come crashing down. Most everyone here being critical cares. Thats the big issue your missing along with PGI.

With this major step forward, I ask that PGI publish realistic dates for delivering on features, fixes, and other changes so that all stakeholders of the community are on the same page at all times. Please create specific forum posts for development status and provide timely status updates, even if dates slip. I'd rather be in the know rather than kept in the dark until the last minute.
All in all, today is a good day to die on the battlefield. I can't wait until I get off work and buy an Orion!
Congratulations to us all, great work PGI, please keep up the good work and continue the improvements in the game and communications!

Not too fair. I have a problem now (after launch, not before launch though), because the patch threw 5 md5 checksum errors, and after it finally managed to install, I got like 8-12fps instead of the usual 40-60fps. So the solution you suggest would be to delete the game and forget about it? Well... I dunno. I wouldn't say so.
Now I am redownloading the entire game, which - to my surprise - seems to work just ok. If I still get 8-12fps afterwards for whatever reason there may be, I might just stay away for a month or two. Dunno.
I am not complaining about gameplay issues like UAC5 or balancing or whatever. But at least LET me play... that'd be good enough for me really.

Same here. No one I got to join lasted more than a couple of weeks. I only PUG because I refuse to be part of the problem keeping new players. Have to say the founders bear responsibilty because whenver we complianed about being stomped constantly they dove right in to point out how we need to play better and join teams. Forced compliance does not promote new customers.

only 2 years since pre-production started?
suddenly everything is clear, usually you'd barely see anything about a game only this far into development O_o
what kind of insane publisher do you guys have?
coupled with a small team, not sure why anybody expects these guys to be able to do miracles
We gave them enough money to hire enough people to build the game they sold us. Or at least 50% or thereabouts of said funding. Blame IGP for putting the money elsewhere if you want, but PGI / IGP are pretty much the same entity it would appear, in all but name.

This is the first video that has had this attack on it. The savemwo crew sure is helping the game.
Not exactly; plenty of outlets have been receiving plenty of negative commentary on all sorts of places. YouTube, NGNG, Facebook, Twitter, etc. "We" are nothing if not persistent.

How about because they claimed they could do it? How about they kept making promises they knew they couldnt keep? These expectations didnt come from nowhere you know. Since open beta we where told that big features are right around the corner and that we will get all the information in the "next 60 days"
Aparantly 60 days means a year in PGI speak because a year has passed and we still know absolutely nothing about either community warfare nor UI. 2 besides some concept screenshots.
Pretty much this.
The expectations I had, the things I feel have been delayed too much and too long or abandoned entirely or whatever, were not mythical creatures created wholesale by my overactive imagination.
They were things PGI themselves said that they could, and would, do. Slipping on a few deadlines or abandoning a few ambitious features I could forgive, but this has been consistent and repetitive and systemic.

It does not even make sense? What is achieved?! It is a NORMAL PATCH. Thanks for the crappy new uber expensive skin.

I'm with you 100%. I play on a more casual level so I don't really want to join a guild/clan/whatever in order to enjoy playing the game. I tend to bounce around from game to game. However the PUG experience in this game simply stinks. League of Legends does it right. There's a ranked queue for the more serious players and if you really want to take things on easy mode, go fight beginner bots. I've been playing LoL on and off for years now because it is so casual-friendly. So yeah, I never really appreciated it when the answer to our complaining about how bad PUGs were was "go join a clan".

Reality is, were not getting any of it because a bunch of people asked for money back, and the community rebelled. So in short, PGI turns into a jaded 5 year old, and decides not to give us other stuff with the launch as promised.
I dont see this helping your image in the long run. Unless they are making some major changes based on the community's sudden surge of hatred. If this is the case, you should probably communicate why your not releasing these things, and skip the BS answers.
This is not a launch. This is just removing "Beta" from the name, which in some peoples eyes it might be a coming out party for the game, but sorry I dont see it that way when the game changed none.
I hope all the best in the future for the game, but my disposable income will not be coming anywhere near this mess until I see some major change in the future. I will keep watching, updating and playing an occasional match perhaps once in a blue moon. But I cannot support something that is mismanaged in such a way.
Good luck PGI!

Well, that's actually part of PGI's stance on any terminology. '60 Days' means about a year, while 'The distant future' is less than that. Time, like all other words put out by PGI, is whatever they say it is at the moment, and to be changed as soon as that meaning isn't beneficial to the company.
In other words 'I was for it before I was against it' is the guiding principle of PGI's corporate profile. If there is a discrepency in their statements, it's the fault of the playerbase for reading what they say.
