2. In one portion of the video there were 18 or more mechs on one side. So, when are we getting this feature?

WOT and even DDO did their customers a lil better at their respective launch. and wargaming is looking to have a great launch for WOWP at the end of the month.
Hopefully more features are implemented soon, otherwise, that was a waste of money to me.
Oh no, did you decide to wait for launch to start playing? You missed all the fun months last year.

Have I missed any?
If I have not, Why Have they not said anything?
Ignoring everyone even their defenders dose not seem constructive to me.
Why would they comment? This isn't a dialog. They said what they needed to say.

To the supporters: Soldier On! I've been playing BattleTech/MechWarrior games myself since MW2, played MW3 & PM, MW4, BK & Mercs and went through at least 5 sets of different Joystick / Throttle combos through that timeline. Bear-in-mind that I *do* have my own problems with MWO, but I see these as challenges for ME to adapt to, not for PGI to fix to make ME happy. I'm having to learn how to play MW all over again because of the poor Joystick support, but I'm willing to LEARN and not B*TCH about it.
Adapt...or move on.
To PGI: You've done an admirable job in resurrecting the franchise! As a former Dev (not in games, but in products that come out of a little company in Redmond) I know the hard work it takes to get a product to launch. People seldom understand the grueling process of developing software and the effort put from all involved parties in getting it released; they also rarely understand that *any* software product that is released is never "feature-complete" at the release date, and that patches and updates are always part of the development process of any kind of software development project. It would do the nay-sayers a bit of good to take that to heart and engage their brains before posting ill-informed comments.
Here's to a bright future for MWO!
I think your missing the point, and I can see you cared so much for the game you decided to support it with a founders package,, ohh sorry I guess you didn't, I like most of the Beta testers have been plating MW since before it was ever a gleam in an online developers eye, And have participated in every league & ladder for the game since its first release. You should thank all those Beta Testers & early founders for helping create the game you seem to think doesn't need them anymore, They are the core support for this game and will be the reason it & the community has any staying power, it wont be the newbies, it will be the players that have been waiting for 11 years for a new release, forgive them if they want PGI to make the best possible game they can, after all they have put in the time & the money, They have earned the right to state what's on there minds, something tells me you cant say the same

Congrats on the Launch.
I'd rather they just kept their trap shut on launch until they had actual content lined up.
UI 2.0
Community Warfare Phase 1 and 2
2 to 3 new maps
At least one new Game mode
THAT would have made me hot and bothered for launch. You know.. .the stuff we were originally told we'd have last spring + the stuff we were told was coming this September.

Neg. I waited over a decade for this game, and a year and a half since 1st day closed beta. I can wait another year for a *real* Launch with UI 2.0 and real CW. Simple.

lol 115 for, 152 against, 35 in the middle.. wow there are some damning figues right there.. out of 374 ratings... better close up shop.. the 370-odd meta critic users have sorted this out...
that's a larger sample size than what's used in a lot of studies and surveys. It doesn't really matter if it's an accurate representation of the playerbase as a whole. It's the vocal part of the playerbase - and is clearly not good PR for a launch release.

This content is still coming regardless of a 'BETA' next to the logo.

You lose on that bet. I, for one (and thus not ALL, as your bet prescribed), would rather have launch have been postponed indefinitely UNTIL this game is what it should be.

Actually the same people "whining" 'cos of no CW and UI 2.0 were the ones who said that they shouldn't launch Open Beta with an unplayable game back which was the case after a patch nearly at the end of CB. At that time PGI pushed back the OB and i think that was a good decision.
So no i don't think these people would whine due a to a launch delay, especially since they gave us nothing for launch.

I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but I'll feel it needs to be posted:
If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I love the fact that there is finally a place that all the old school mechwarriors can come out of the woodwork and enjoy a shared experience. When I read flame posts that have no constructive criticism, and serve only to poison the community with negativity, I can't help but imagine the scene from Cinderella, where the stepsister characters tear apart Cinderella's dress (a dress made from the bits and pieces of salvaged material). And to what end? What good does it do anyone? It certainly doesn't improve the game.
PGI is not a group of money-hungry business men, or naive game-makers. By all signs, they seem to be a group of dedicated people who are taking huge strides to craft a game that is their interpretation of the Battletech universe. In my opinion they are doing an amazing job of trying to balance the temporal whims of a mass audience with the drive of a core vision. Regardless of how many neat shiny improvements come with the launch, I think there is a great need for celebration.
I, for one, will be playing this game for as long as the servers are running - and I know there are others that feel the same. So, Cheers! to PGI. Congratulations on a great start! I can't wait to see what is to come. =)

As a free game this game is awesome, as a person that has invested over 500$, I'm disgusted.
I just bought more MC for the launch but before it...doh!
