Not sure what they're celebrating that they couldn't have celebrated weeks/months ago. As for how they paid for the party, perhaps it was w/that clever Ilya Murmets sale over the weekend BEFORE they nerf UAC5s

What I would've loved to see (apart from a non-90s UI) would be a new game-mode. Like attack/defense or some kind of search and destroy/protect-mission.
Or anything that would give the repetitive process of spawn-fight-die/win-repeat a "deeper" meaning.

That'd be nice, or
remove the speed cap
re-implement knock down collisions
fix environment hit detection (weapons colliding w/invisible hit boxes of terrain/buildings)
fix audio for damage received not always working (get hit by a PPC and don't hear a sound)
etc
.
.
.
In other words make the game not beta quality still?

Amen to every single point on your list. Invisible walls annoy the hell out of me, and silly speed-capping ruins too many matches, IMO.
BTW: Is is just the PPCs that cause that weird "insta-crit without any audio/visual hit-feedback"? Happens to me quite often - feels like lost/delayed packets or something. As if the guy shooting me got a hit on his frontend, but the info about that hit is sent to my client with a "delay".
