Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it's not annoying, or that you shouldn't be able to drop in the mechs you want. The idea behind different mechs and documenting them here is more in the terms of feedback and data collection on what is and isn't working is all.

Game fails to find a match for me for me atleast for an hour, im gona give up and play something else instead. Good games this evening. Well spent money on perimium time

I'm guessing this will happen with quite some people until it's fixed. Speaking of which...can we get a hotfix, pls?

There is nothing to hotfix. The changes can be made to the MM w/o a patch. That assumes PGI is still working on it.

I mean, I'd rather have more balanced matches but this is just stupid. I am nearly always queuing up solo, it's not like I am trying to force myself into a game with a premade all in assaults. I should be able to at least find ONE game an HOUR at pretty much PRIME TIME FRIDAY NIGHT.

We tried running 1.1.1.1, we tried 0.2.1.1...we tried 0.0.0.4...the less heavy you go, the more likely to find a match.
For 4 mans, the less people you have (3 or 2 only) the less likely you find a game, too.

I noticed while dropping solo or with groups that dropping in Lights and with Mode Select set to Any I was finding matches in 1-2 minutes max, but as I dropped in Heavies my time to drop increased quite a bit.

I logged off yesterday in frustration after failing to find a match 8 consecutive times after servers came back up from the sale in a 4man grp with ryan steel kaffeangst and 1 of his friends.....

Oh your good @ the game here enjoy not playing it .... ;) lol

It seems to me that at the least, when one is waiting for the matchmaker to find you a match, that you should be dropped into some sort of lobby to at least chat with other players while you wait (instead of staring at the search screen.)

Forcing folks to wait and wait and wait will only drive people away, and then the problem snowballs. More people leaving in frustration = fewer people in the pool.

It certainly seems like this issue should be a top priority at PGI.

Im just.... *le sigh* I dont know. I want to quit, but its the only mech game out there. Im just no longer having fun. Im only getting 1 of 3 matches.

1: Other team lolerstomps my team
2: My team lolerstomps their team
3: 1 in 100 matches is actually a good even match and some rtard goes and caps.


I'm getting closer and closer to quitting and posting hundreds of "pug matches" on youtube lolerstomp after lolerstomp. And ill wait until PGI separates the solo and premade ques.

Have fun EVER getting a match in solo drops if they remove 2-4 four mans from your queue, you will be in a worse state than the high elo 12 mans, there will be no matches to get "lolerstomped" in.

Unfortunately it's a problem that many games with matchmakers have. Elo works great for 99%, but struggles at the extremes. Especially when a lot of the top players tend to split their team between 12 man and pugs.

Now I'm not telling you to purposefully lose games to drop your Elo. All I'm saying is that if you happen to lose a lot of games where you were evenly matched or even supposed to win, it would allow you to find more games.

I'm just saying...

Edit: Alternatively and I'm just speaking out loud here, if someone on a 4 man were to create an alternate account it would average your team's Elo down significantly. But we're just talking hypothetically here right?

This is precisely why I have a ton of Premium Time and may never use it. The way it's set up now, once you start using it, it keeps going until you're out. I'm not sure if this is a good place or opportunity to propose that the "Premium Time" concept be reworked as a "Match Booster", where instead of buying packages in terms of time (1/3/7 days), you buy them in match allotments (8/24/56 matches... the number is just an example). This way you can get what you pay for, and not have to worry that you've purchased something that you can't make full use of.

Today I am getting people on my team who are either cats or playing this on a NGage in Siberia.

I don't care if Mr. High Elo has to wait a WEEK for a game; this is just STUPID.

The current state of AssaultWarrior is indirectly causing that to occur... as lower ELO players are probably getting the higher weight slots filled ahead of those with higher ELO.

One thing I have noticed over the last few months is that when I join a match the enemy team is already filled up while my team is not. As more players join my team most often fills up as well, but sometimes we are 1, or even 2, mechs short. Never once (since about april, when I started keeping score) have I started a match in a team with numerical advantage. Not a single exception.
