Really depressing when a win only nets you 60k average : /

Also:

Commandos are worthless over 6 months ago : /

Nope, it's the 3050 version of the Great Depression right now. If you want to make the most of it, grab extreme-range weapons like the ERLL and poke EVERY single enemy you see. Don't worry about focusing your firepower into a single target and killing it, because PGI doesn't think that such is valuable to the team so they pay you more for spreading out your damage across multiple targets.

I really hope so. *Games* shouldn't even have grinds in them, because grinds are work. In order for a person to *play* a game, the gameplay must not be work, because play and work are opposites.

They should've called it Free-to-Grind; Pay-to-Play.

Supposedly in community warfare, accruing loyalty points will bring you to a higher rank in the faction. With that rank comes more income. Though now it sounds like "rewards" of access to tech which sounds really, really stupid...

Yeah, I find it annoying that the gameplay mechanics encourage me to "poke." Should I put 4 MPulse or 4 ML on my 'mech? If I put MPulse on 'my mech I won't be able to poke targets at 540m!

Should I focus fire? Or should I send a volley at this other enemy 'mech so I can get a kill assist?

Don't get me started on the fact that capping on Conquest gets an individual player absolutely nothing except some XP at the end. Each time I start capping I'm tempted to run off and join the mob so I can get some kill assist C-bills. I understand they don't want degenerate behavior, and that they also want to encourage fighting, but that could be prevented by limiting how many times they give out the C-bill rewards for capping, and how many C-bills they give for capping.

You'll get increased c-bill earnings when you quit your day job and play mwo 24/7.

It would be nice to get rewarded for good play, but right now, as you said, it is more lucrative to try to hit all the enemies and hope someone eventually kills them. Rewarding good play is probably one of the hardest aspects of PVP game design and a lot of games struggle to do it well. Hopefully PGI will be making smart adjustments soon because the current system is very frustrating.

This is not a public forum, it's a private forum which happens to allow public access...

At least, I'm sure that's the rationalization the forum admins are using to justify their overbearing suppression of free speech here.

Just like most would not allow guests to trash their house (verbally, over and over) after inviting them in, despite the guest right to do so, right?

I don't even play conquest anymore because of this. Games last too long with very little reward. I think it's silly that I have to cut out a whole game mode if I want to make cbills at any not-quite-respectable rate.

1) Equip ERLLs
2) Sweep the laser over anything that remotely resembles an enemy
3) Profit if your team happens to win

And I'm not even joking. That's how badly planned the rewards are. Assists is basically all you should worry about. Kills just net you pocket change.
