Hehe, that was my thoughts as well! Atlas K my first mech, got it with mc (ouch). I don't regret it though as I was a 'newbie' and didn't even look at the other atlases so I had a lot of fun with my atlas K.

But mistakes, well, I've bought couple of jenners that I've sold already because I simply didn't like them. Right now I think getting the orion is my biggest mistake. Over 6million down the drain. I don't like the mini-weak-atlas at all .

Oh, you mean mechs? I wouldn't call any of the ones I bought that turned out to be stinkers mistakes. You just can't know beforehand, and I generally would rather find out for myself rather than just accept other peoples' word for how good or bad a mech is.

Sold an upgraded Stalker by mistakenly clicking Sell instead of Select. There went about 10 mil.

When I wanted to unlock the master quirk on one of my awesomes (I had about 30k XP) I accidently clicked on GXP instead of XP....

POOF! 21.500 GXP gone....

For me it was the purchase of Misery. Never could master the slow turns, the slow pace, and the feel of the mech.

My Cataphracts, Jaegers, Catapults, even my Atlas all feel like an extension when I pilot them. Stalkers and I just don't mix...so I tried to solve that with Misery and wound up with nothing but it in name for real in matches.

Havent given up on it totally yet, but I partly agree with sentiments about PB here. I have gone to LRMs on all missile points and 2 ERLL. I use the speed of it to keep away from people. Which to me, is like the opposite of how it should play. its fast. its an assault. it should be all in your face running around faster then assaults should, brawling you up like a 4P hunchie on roids. But it isnt, because the stupid ******* movement quirk makes it impossible to do that decently. The 9M is 3 times the speedy assault the PB is because it doesnt have a decelration nerf built into it.

I am proud of my stack of now 276 Medium lasers, 210 Large Lasers, and countless stacks of Narc Ammo. I'm sitting on a gold mine, I know it. Just gatta wait for these limited edition "Closed Beta" Medium and Large Lasers to go on demand in what may never be a player controlled "free market".

Is that utterly crazy? Maybe. But I know I'll never need to purchase any weapon ever again! Muahahahaha.



(Side note, I sold 17 Gauss rifles today. Made a cool 5.1M off that.)

Mc purchase of prettybsby and c-bills on 2 awesome variants.
I only keep them b/c someday I hope pgi pulls their head out
and gives them some much needed love. Like ignoring the
ghost heat from firing multiple ppc's and a much needed
improvment on its hit boxes.

I think I finally found one that the loadout works for me, it's just hard to really tell as long a my Titanic's prow of a CT keeps jutting into everybody's fire lanes!

Trebuchets. Bought 3 and upgraded them when they first came out based on the fact they were mediums that mounted missiles and lasers. Didn't realize they were the size of an assault mech. Got rid of all three within a month. Later on, became nostalgic for a JJ capable medium that had missile and laser hard points.....and bought all 3 again. Sold them (again) last night. Just not the mech for me.

I used to hate them, and regretted buying them. Then they got their perks in the Medium Perk Pass, and holy hell is my 275 equipped 4P with 150 degree torso twist a beast.

I still deeply regret purchasing a Cataphract 4X. That thing is a piece of {Scrap}.

I Bought a CTF.4x, Never got the damn thing to work, so sold it.
Then i had to buy it again when i realised that I needed 3 of same mech to get master.
So my biggest misstake was to actually sell my CTF-4X in the first place

But I actually got it to work,
These CTF need a lot of cash invested into them, specifically the 4X needed the biggest standard engine and upgraded structure to work at all for me, elite skills helps alot also, then they are rock solid.

Still as slow as an Atlas, why I sold mine. However, I agree its not as squishy as the Orion.

Yup, a flaming **** of a mech, that for some reason I was brain dead enough to spend IRL money on. And it was such a piece, I actually sold it just to clear a mechbay. But since I was NEVER going to use it, would keeping it have somehow been better? (Only consolation is I bought it on a sale, but yeesh.)



we made the mistake of somehow thinking being an IRL money mech it might somehow be good. Instead it is the worst of all Awesomes.

Why so much hate towards the 4X? I like it alot. Grind it to master and you can get alot out of it. DAKKA DAKKA!!

On topic: The most expensive was to fool around with Endo, FF and DHS back in the early days... ALOT of C-Bills wasted.
