i keep purchasing mech after mech only to find they don't fit me at all here is a few (i cant remember their variant ID):

PPC catapult: played thinking "oh a catapult with 2 ppc's that seems cool and powerful" hated it.
Jenner (the one with the lasers): hated it for its heat issues because i don't really enjoy controlling my fire.
Commando (forget which one): really just a slow ****** chassis that you never see used anymore, got replaced by newer chassis like my spider.
Raven (also forget): too slow, hated it a lot, electronic warfare is not my thing. i don't know why i thought it would be a good idea considering how i didn't like it in previous mechwarrior games.
blackjack (the one with nothing but energy) heat problems i liked it for a bit but once i got my Jagermech it completely replaced it, there are a few chassis in the game that i find would be good if there wasn't another model of mech like it but far better.

Sold an Atlas with all my modules attached to it a few days after modules were released. Hey, that sucked.

I wouldn't say I made mistakes, but just bad purchasing decisions. The two that I can think of off the top of my head were the HBK-4G (wish I would have got the 4H) and CTF-4X (wish I got either 1X or 2X). But I still have both and used them for unlocks.

Other C-Bill dumps I regret are switching around Ferro Fibrous and Artemis. I wish you just owned those once you buy them...

On the flip side, I'm VERY happy with my Muromets and Firebrand purchases. And my favoirite C-Bill purchased mechs are the CTF-3D, JM6-DD and HBK-4J (my first mech purchase <3).

Now I would say my Phoenix Pack is my biggest goof.

Firebrand. I hate it so much. I lose more games than I win in it, rendering the c-bill bonus meaningless.

ok, so it's mostly me sucking with it, but still. 0-5 this morning, I'm so tired of getting rolled in something that actually cost me money.

Legendary founders.I should have stayed at elite.I virtually never use anything other than the atlas anyways.Buuuutt....I tossed $120 at the possibility someone would make a mechwarrior/battletech game.Not CoD in robots.Got me once.Never again.

Then again....maybe I'm just on an island by myself.
