Yeah, nice to finally see another assault hero mech. This brings the total of assault and heavy heroes to just ten, while the light pilots are practically drowning in them with a whole 1 hero mech, and on the least popular chassis to boot.

Running an XL in an Atlas has a lot to do with your ELO range. In the mid range its not that bad if you use cover and torso twist to spread damage. And the extra speed etc of a 400 will make that more effective.

Lights mechs make them less money so they make less of them. Supply and demand

Would it surprise you to know I run an XL in my Atlas?

Of course I run x2 ER larges, Gauss, LRM20, x2 SRM6's and just sit back and play it chill sniping until i'm needed.

And when i'm needed it's either clean up or Alamo time.

Been waiting and hoping for an Atlas HERO for months, it's long overdue......and yeah, the only reason they didn't do this sooner was because there really isn't an issue getting people to drop in Atlasi.

And if this means weight limits are just around the corner........no worries.


And yeah, as said before, it's not greed to want to earn money. No one is forcing you. Grab a dictionary and look up free trade capitalism and just let the market decide if this mech is viable and priced right. Better yet, look up Anarchism.....LOL

@Stormlight: You're not getting the Fafnir. TFB. if you bothered to check, the Fafnir Chassis doesn't even exist for like 15-20 YEARS in the timeline of the game lore...even if they do a timeskip, it's still going to be years before we'll see a Faf around.
