If somehow Jordan Weissman manage to make a movie (would rock), let's hope it'll be more successful than Chris Robert's Wing Commander...
When I watched Transformers, I could only guess how great a Battletech movie could have been with those special effects..

That's actually not a fake. That's a Catalyst (flying debris) artwork for the Madcat - Altnernate Config D, pasted on the MWO concept background.
Here is another drawing of it 2 ER PPC, 1 ER Small Laser, 2 SSRM6 (Torso Forward Firing), 2SSRM6 (Torso Rear Firing):

I know I know, they were working on CW but them they realised that their UI is bad so they scraped the CW work on UI 1 and started working on UI 2.
Also they focused on desining more mechs than usual(phoenix) so they can give us the grap deal.

Also I really hate to state the obvious, but neither Russ nor Bryan seem genuine at all in any type of personal interview scenario.

Actually I'm not. I showed both versions Mk1 and Mk4. Get over it. Mk4 is the official production version of the original Madcat Alt Config D. Nearly identical loadouts.

I'm not a Clan fan, but I really hope they don't ruin this one.

seriously when a news article showed alex drawing up concepts of the wolverine as a "leak" the staff confirmed this was on purpose. if this "madcat" was official a staff member would own up to it being another organised "leak"
in typical journalist fasion they did "a lot of research" to find that madcat picture
