It's really bad. It was a bad idea. This is just slowing down a very slow process of finding me a match. It searches and searches, it loads and loads, and then I have to wait 60 seconds because 1 person doesn't hit the 'ready button'. And if it gets to 10 seconds and another player fills a gap, it resets to 60! Get rid of this time-sink trolling button!

An update:
I'm not deranged, or extremely impatient, or misinformed.
This game takes a very long time to find a match for me. That's a fact.
This game takes a long time to load a map, despite being installed on a RAID 0 array of SSD. That's life.
This game was slow to start before, now there's an extra 60s timer. It's too long! That's an opinion!

Maybe this feature should be for 12 v 12 matches, where it's more important to serious players that everyone is ready and organized. These pick up group matches always have one stoner who's not paying attention, one geek chowing down on a snack, or some one in the toilet, or at best a troll who's having fun frustrating 23 other players. And speaking of trolls, something should be done about the troll who joins a game and immediately grabs 'team commander' and then moves people in and out of squads for a laugh. This has happened three times to me since I've patched. I think 'team commander's abilities ought not to extend as far as to rearrange my prearranged four player group. If I drop as a team of four, I don't want a random player to replace my squad mates with strangers! It's wasting valuable time to communicate with these individuals and put things back the way they were!

It's so people can sort out lances etc in 12 mans,it's not pointless.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how impatient are you?

I'm neutral on it..
Sometimes it takes a little longer than the old one, sometimes it makes it go that much quicker
However it ALWAYS gives you the opportunity to communicate before the match begins..

"This is just slowing down a very slow process of finding me a match"

It only slows down the START of the match, not the finding process.... less misinformation please :D

at the moment, I see it as a form of slowing down the game, reducing CBil gain even more, adding to the missing salvage

It is good for organisation but whats needed is intergrated voip,

Also this can be trolled, ive had 3 games out of 15 that have started before the timer ran out.

It's stupid because they put the ready button in a spot where most people never see it.

You're eye naturally enters from the top left and they put it in the top right. Genius.

It's not even flashing or a bright color. Who makes these decisions?

Pretty sure this is part of a master money-grab plan by PGI where they introduce buying C-Bills with RMT to "make up" for low C-Bill yields during normal grind. They're going to starve their players for C-Bills and then present the MIRACULOUS solution of just dropping real cashbucks for C-Bills (and this is also why they haven't made ridiculously expensive components like XL engines purchasable with MC, they want to get people paying for both MC and C-Bills)

I like the concept, but reduce the timer for pug drops to a maximum of 30 seconds with disabled lance rearrangements in the lobby
Keep the normal 60 seconds for 12 man drops.
The reason is that this is useless for pug drops and also make some pre-made-anger/chat-noise/teamkills/, but for 12 mans we can rearrange lances and have a last tactic's chat before the fight is starting.

Great!,... a yes/no poll with checkboxes...., talking about "bad"...

But the idea to have some time for strategy/organization is great, but they need to fine-tune it, so it won't get an annoyance

Before the patch you had to wait a minute until the match started. Now there is the ready button to shorten the time, when everybody is ready. If there was someone who doesn't push the button, you have to wait the same 60 seconds as it was before the patch. So where's the problem? o.O

Also, many ppl wanted to have a lobby. Now there is and you can't deal with it? Maybe the ready button should be bigger and have a signal colour like red, neon green or citrin, but it should not been patched away.

It need to be ready by default with a short timer. That way you can still arrange the lances and immediately get to the game once it's done.

It wasn't a 60 second wait before the patch. It was faster than that. Also I'm not a person who wanted a lobby. Also this new ready setting is not a replacement for the "wants a lobby" crowd.

Didn't talk to you personally. It was more a sort of "those who cried so long and so loud for a lobby-system"-you. Also I have the same "I urgently want to type something before the match gets started but I'm not fast enough so I have to write all the words again because the match has already started"-Problems as before. That's enough proof for me, it has to be the same amount of time as it has been before. ^^

You just think it's slower probably because the changed screen is inducing a mental disconnect.

OP, I appreciate your bringing up points about the new system, but I think the poll oversimplifies the issue.

I don't care for the mechanic because I PUG and I find it an irritation as it has been implemented for many of the reasons you list. But I also think it is a great feature in certain contexts and want it to be available for those who find it useful.

Put me down for "Support the feature, strongly dislike the implementation."
