thats what i meant was where to buy them or how to.

just drag and drop onto the Mech in the Mechlab (after removing the stuff you do not want by dragging it off the Mech), above the save button will be a total cost of the changes, including any upgrades and purchase cost for weapons, equipment and modules.
also there are 2 view modes in the Mechlab in the upper left there is a dropdown box for the view mode, you are after "expanded view", as that shows the whole Mech

Go into mechlab->Loadout and from there select "Upgrades" it's the last section after the legs

Yes they can be sold. However, I (and almost everyone else) would not advise selling any weapons unless they're medium lasers or standard heat sinks. In the sell menu you can sell the stuff; I personally keep 25 extra of anything, otherwise I sell it.

To find the sell menu, go to the home tab. On the left side, there's a bunch of tabs, one of which being inventory. Click that for the ability to sell any material you possess except ammo (for some stupid reason). For weapons specifically, you'd go to the weapon systems tab.

Save every last weapon. Seriously, I hesitate to even sell flamers (I keep a minimum stock of 12, just in case).

I would rather strip the weapons and keep them, same with all other equipment and ammo, if I am selling the chassis.

go to the inventory and the Battlemech tab, then click on the Mech you want to sell, and select sell.
it will ask you if you are sure and there is a tickbox to sell equipment as well, I strongly advise against selling the equipment.
the sell price will be half the value of the un-upgraded chassis, this will not amount to much unless it is a Clan Mech which will include the un-removable XL engine.

I advise against selling a Mech unless you need the space (as in are out of Mechbays) or are absolutely sure you will not want to play it again, as rebuying will be at full price and you will then have to redo any upgrades.

Is there a point to buying more than one chassis? Why would I want to buy two JM6-DD for example?

I just randomly got one day of free premium time. Did someone gift it to me, was it part of an unknown event? I'm 99% sure it wasn't from CW because I haven't CW'd in a week.

Yesterday afternoon, I decided to buy a new light Mech, to compliment my Raven 3L and 4 other Mediums, so I decided on buying the Jenner JR7-K since I rather energy weapons over most other weapon systems. Now I am trying to decide, once I get it to the elite tier but builds I could put on it, if anyone has any suggestions they found good?

There is no real benefit to buying more than one of the same chassis except to use both in cw with the same or different loadouts. You may have gotten a day of premium time from an event? If it was gifted, you would know because you would have redeemed the code.

No, I was thinking of getting 1 or 2 different light mechs to go along with the 4 mediums I have (5 soon) and then move on to the Heavy class, although I am not much a fan of Catapults and have to keep to Inner Sphere 'Mechs, since I use CW event a lot.

I have not taken them fro premium or bought them, just took advantage of the sale Jenner's have now for the next 8 days

Because of the confusion in the definition of the statement in regards to how they are defined for the series -- I had to read this more than once.

Chassis being Jagermech, Hunchback, Jenner. The frames.

Variant is the term I think you were looking for. JM6-DD, JM6-A, JM6-S, etc.

That said: For multiple loadouts (in case if you have more than one you enjoy), for rapid gameplay (Play as Jagermech DD -- kill some and die. Immediately switch to the next Jager DD, kill some and die -- immediately enter the next match with the first and repeat). Also for Community Warfare.

Simple question: Is it possible to use both Mech XP and General XP at the same time to unlock mech efficiencies? I'm pretty sure I've been able to do it once or twice, but it seems almost random, and I can't really replicate it. I find it really annoying to come out of a match with something like 50 MXP short of getting a new mech skill, but with 300 GXP just sitting around, unusable.
