It is the kind of favouritism that doesn't cost them anything and fosters goodwill with the community? I don't see a problem with it.

From a sociopoliical standpoint, I have to disagree.

It fosters goodwill FROM THE FOUNDERS, and only the founders.

Everybody else that paid the same am ount (and, with all due respect, does not have an internet-wide reputation for acting out of entitlement or rage) will be told "the Founder`s Money is worth more than yours was"

Even if the Founders only spent 20 bucks for the low end deal and you spent 110 for the full blown package.

The founders /"core players" are also the ones consistently doing everything in their power to be as detrimental to the game as humanly possible, the metacritic circle-jerlk was just the tip of the iceberg.

Why the hell would anybody in their right mind want to REWARD such conduct? 0.o

Either way, ******* off the "silent majority" by pandering to the childish demands of the no longer paying vocal minority that lives on an island sounds like a really stupid business decision to me....

I personally couldn`t care less, for all I care they can have them because I`m not a petty man-b!tch. Heck, I just got my Sarah`s Jenner yesterday, but unlike most others I didn`t open a new whine thread about it every day the last 2 weeks, because I understood the reasons and have no reason to assume that PGI is planning to kidnap my goldfish every time I need to use the bathroom.

And truth be told, the "core players" would still find something to whine about, so why even create the headache for yourself as a dev?

The $20 people aren't really "Founders" per se. They're more like the hired help in our pimped out mansion that we let sleep on the premises because it'd be too inconvenient to have them commute.

They contribute(d) to our greatness, in their own, small way, but you should never confuse them with the shining gods that are the Legendary Founders, or the somewhat-less-virile-but-still-semi-divine whatever founders... I can't be bothered to know what the lower tier is.

Also, only Legendary Founders should have access to Omnimechs. Veteran Founders can have the non-Omni clan mechs, and the scrub "Founders" can have the solhama scraps.

Likewise, when Rotary Autocannons come out... well....
