Hi,

Im relatively new to this game. I made an account about a week ago. Everything was fine made cbills bought my first mech, did some upgrades and used some experience for upgrades in the pilot tree. Cool

After a week of playing I realized it was a game i wouldn't mind playing long term. After all mech warrior3 was my favorite game ever. Only prob was i didnt want to play the game long term with the pilot name i made. So since I couldnt find a way to change my name in game, I simply made another account with my other email address on my same computer.

I immediatly bought some mc and purchased a hero mech (heavy metal). never used the trial mechs cause id been playing a week on the other account and kinda knew what was up.

So i played over 25 games earned millions of cbills and some gxp but no usable experience for the pilot tree. None. I bought another mech and did some upgrades to my HM with cbills kept playing and still no experience.

I then checked my old account figuring ok well at least i could play a more playable mech until they fix this. Nope....

My other account had been stripped of all the pilot tree upgrades i made and all residual experience. So i sent a couple of emails off to tech support (since there's no phone number), and have been waiting for a reason why this is so. No response so far...

I've since applied their file diagnostic, reinstalled the game and repatched. Read forums, googled and more (essentially hours of frustration).

If it is the fact that I have two accounts from the same computer I wish the game would have prevented it when I tried to do so. I didn't see this as an issue. Not even in the terms of use (which ive since read after going through all this).

Help please.

Update: Thanks for all your help. I woke up this morning and the powers that be have fixed the problem. Everything is woking as it should.

The number of accounts from a single computer should not matter. I have 4 registered from this computer and do not have the issues you describe.

I can't say I've ever heard of the problem you are having. Your best bet (since you seem to have done all the basic trouble shooting) is wait for support to reply.

You can try another computer but i don't know how effective that will be if at all.

Are you sure you drilled down to the mechs you were using?

Did you try on a different PC?

I had an issue where I mysteriously spent GXP, though it might be me clicking on the wrong spot due to lag, so it might not have been their fault.

There is another topic where a guy gained 200 million GXP overnight.

I think they've had an error with this latest patch.
A bunch of bugs got introduced, so just wait on that support email I guess.

Well thanks for responding :P

Yea opened the account yesterday, immediatly bought mc and bought the hero mech with that mc. Played the hero mech made lots of cbills, went into pilot tree with that mech and no exp after probably 30 games now...and my owned mech from my original account lost all his pilot tree progress aswell.

Guess I'll wait for a response from tech support....

Any idea how long they take? ...

YEah I've been losing XP on some of my mechs since the launch. Sometimes they, according to the pilot tree, don't even have the proficiencies. Fortunately, every time I restart MW:O the problem is typically fixed, or afflicting some other mech. Doesn't seem to do any permanent damage though.

Didn't try it on a different pc yet...

Presently my machine can just barely handle the game( quad core 2.4 mhz Q6600 with an old nvdia geforce 8500) and it would tank if i try to use voice and play at the same time. Been a good machine for about 3 years now....but its way long in the tooth now.

I just ordered a new game machine from dell( i7 with a GTX760 graphics and 16g ram)a couple of days ago. I should have it in a few days. I'm hoping to set up voice and friend up with some serious gamers....feel free to add me cause i need some knowledgeable friends.

Yea...

I've rebooted ,restarted computer, reinstalled game... nothing works for me :P

I would honestly just wait until your new computer comes in. Your graphics card is below spec, however your processor isn't. I run a Q6600 and I used to have an 880GTS 512, but have since upgraded my graphics card to a GTX760.

Don't worry I've emailed support countless times and their response time is good.

Multiple accounts shouldn't matter - my kid has her own account and it has never corrupted my own account...

Let's see a screenshot. Are you clicking all the way down to the correct variant (and not just the mech chassis)?

This is a new one on me, but the times I have contacted support they got back to me within a day though on one occasn it took three days to fix my problem.

Have you tried running the MWO repair tool? Also if you look in your MWo game folder you might find the old accounts details try moving it out/deleting it manually.
