Big difference though. The customers always right mentality is stupid especially in this day and age where people intentionally troll just to get their kicks or think that a product or service should just cater to them because they paid money. I've seen so many people do that intentionally on this forum. Oh broken promises, oh broken dream, I quit (but I really didn't), you ruined my child hood, PGI will fail every within 6 months (every 6 months). Really ****. Voicing disatisfactions one thing; (But saying it a thousand times when it comes to a product well...), being a true arse and a pathetic self absorbed tool who lives in a closet is quite another. The they broke a promise is the thing I LoL the most at. Really if your that upset leave. Bet these neanderthals childhoods were destroyed by many broken promises that said persons are the pinniacle of perfection so they get to carry the bag of stones. Smh whatever.

Why players openly mock them. You can only take so much.
Professionalism would have that "so much" equate to "the high road".

i was just thinking about this.. They had ALL the goodwill in the UNIVERSE for a long time from community till their ambivelence over community concerns from A to Z drove many to the conclusion that they are incompetent or just dont give a flyin or any combination of the above.

Incompetence can be just a failure to communicate, even if your intentions are good.
Its still a fatal flaw in many situations.

Its the mark of a good commander in chief. if you aint hackin it, time to go. get someone who can get it done.

That isn't the mark of a good commander. Not at all. Not even close.

Where did you learn your leadership skills? That's HORRIBLE! When the going gets tough, you quit???

If you realize that you can't cut it, you stay and drag everyone down with you?

Yeah, thats a good commander. You know that you can't do it, but you are too proud, too stupid or too ignorant to take responsibility and go...

TBH, I actually watched that episode featuring them.

As much as I hate the idea that the people/media try to make people out to be monsters or whatever, the people referred in the link weren't doing a good job to dispel that notion.

I don't think MWO's Facebook page was faring well either, but it's Facebook...

You're creating a false duality. It's not either/or.

He's saying that you're either a complete failure with no hope of redemption, or a great leader. There's a huge spectrum he can pull from in between there, and a thousand tactics to drive you one way or another along it.

If a good leader can't get the job done, he hires someone who can. That's far more effective than walking away.

I shouldn't have to do this, because it's on the same damn page.

You literally just disagreed with him, accused him of creating a false duality and then said exactly what he initially said. What the **** is wrong with you?

I guess it's a matter of tone. But you're right, I misunderstood what he was getting at. I focused on the walking away part.

Careful. If you start admitting it when you're wrong, you don't know where you might end up.

I'm frequently wrong. My wife lets me know it all the time. ;)

I guess that is where I ended up: happily married.

Tempting bait, though I'm not dumb enough to bite.

what i meant, is whomever is at the top of the food chain is CIC. obviously those under him/her includes the devs who are making our game. WHomever is at top should have fired any number of devs who are handling mwo . In many ways its already too late. case in point, these forums which are now effectively dead for id say conservatively half those who used to frequent them .

When considering PGI and the current state of MW:O, I am reminded of something Patton said:

If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking.
