Many thanks !
Coming from germany, but beeing part of a big international merc unit (over 150 Pilots) with 2/3 from the US and 1/3 from EU, the region limitation makes me fear losing connection to old buddies who may choose EU region (because they live here too).
I had hoped for a community warfare (IS Map), playing against players from all of the world instead of only the guys from one region.
Like other F2P games, leveling up something on one server usually discourages switching.
If you can only switch once, it will be a tough decision.
I realy hope, we wont have any issues with our EU players accidentially choosing wrong servers.

Concerning Systemspecs, i will create a new pc, but my old one is barely able to play MW:LL.
Vista64
AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+ with oc to 2.6GHz (slowest part)
upgraded my GT9800 to GTX560 TI
Old HDD
Old 4GB RAM

Still its possible to play MWLL with crappy framerate. And the CryEngine3 should be more old PC friendly. The Developer Pack of the Engine takes a while to load the Directx11 stuff, but its working ;)

Absolutely you could use the same computer. You'd just have two different logins.

Thanks for that update, some f2p games frown on that.

Thanx Russ, I really appreciate the efforts PGI is making to keep the community updated and involved.

I did have a question about the "more of a Lone Wolf Experience for the first few months" comment you made. I know you then went on to clarify the statement a bit with a comment about being able to group up and play with your friends. I'm wondering if you might be ale to provide a bit more clarity around that.

Will we be able to Party up and play on the same team? Or will parties be randomly shuffled into drops? I just want to be able to manage the expectations of our membership for the open beta launch.

Thanx again.

Groups are in - as in you can group up with a bunch of other people and launch together. It's still being refined, but it's there.

Very Good news, thankyou for releasing it.

Developers all too often rush a product, to its own detriment...the fact you're willing to delay things speak volumes about your dedication and focus on quality (one relatively recent example of a game that followed the same ethos was Sins of a solar empire, which benefited -greatly- from doing the exact same thing).

so Russ said that they were ramping up to 10,000 beta testers for the first round of testing BEFORE the Founders additions. Can anyone remember TO DATE how many keys have went out? This will give us a number of how many of those 10,000 are left ;)

Question in reguards to the founders packages. With access being granted to closed beta can those who purchase these packages expect to see their awards carry over into launch? This more pretains to the in-game currency, as other F2P games generally reset all stats and ingame "credit", or will MWO not be awarding those assets of the founder's package until the summer release date?

I believe thursdays 500 invites bumped it up to 7500 current testers based on dev statements over the past several days.

I wonder if we will still accumulate loyalty points with our faction even though the community warfare isn't going to be available, or are they completely separate?

How long can we expect the founders offer to be available? I probably won't be able to get it the first week.
