Not supporting XP?
Well, farewell then.
I'm not going to upgrade OS which works fine.

Clearly if it can't run thing game then its not fine, And as stated if you had read everything XP is supported.

yes its a quad core, to help u out alil further go to http://www.systemreq...cyri/intro.aspx and choose crysis 3 it has similiar specs but to run MWO apperently u need 4 gb of ram instead of 3 gb of ram
thats the only major diffrences I saw

I5=Quad core. 2 physical cores. 2 logical processors. So for all intensive purposes it is a quad core.
The video is close enough that it wont kill your machine. 74% of the systems performance is the CPU. And my work did not have the stats for what the video card contributed, but you should be able to play just fine. The differences between the 2 cards is almost nothing. Some times its an added vid port, or an extra 200 or so polygon shaders.

Thanks a bunch for the help! :)

Even though they didn't specificly state it, there is a very good chance it will run on WinXP since it only requires DirectX9. Where you are going to run into trouble is the 4GB memory requirement. Although thas same issue should plague Vista 32-bit as well. Any 32-bit OS will probably not be able to use 4Gb of memory due to overhead (my winXP machine only recognizes 3.5 of 4 GB installed).

Actually they did state it.. XP is in the listed MINIMUM Specs...

Looking at the minimum specs, it seems that waiting to play will be a while longer than expected...
Honestly, what makes me wonder, is the distinct disadvantage at which ATI/AMD users seem to be -
after all, I did buy the HD 4850 after reading benchmarks putting it against the 8800GT and surpassing it...

Well... certainly won't buy a new graphic card anytime soon, so count me out. ;)

It's good to know by what date I have to have this roaring beast beside me replaced by. And I for one thank you for backing the date up. I'm not sure I could have had enough money saved to upgrade my system by July, but August .. ? Can do.

But why aren't you taking my moneys now?!?!

lol, i went to a posted link to run my system specs for crysis2. Bar went all the way to the right. Im running an AND 3800+ cpu, 4gb of ram and an Nvidia GT430 with windows 7. Are you sure crysis2 is a good game to see if MWo is playable on a given machine

Thanks for all the great info Russ, glad to know that you guys are taking your time and doing it right, even if that means we have to wait a bit longer :P

Another quick quesiton about the Founders Mechs, can we get variants? Specifically, I'm thinking of getting the Catapult, but the CPLT-K2K variant with the 2 ERPPCs and 2 ERMLs would much better suit my play style.

Will there be any choice of variants for Founders Mech pilots?
