While the updates on dx11 and ui 2.0 are great, I think we are impatient about news on CW. The factions update in particular.

Note that they didn't say which launch they were referring to... MWO? The next Tesla model? NASA's space shuttle replacement? Virgin Galactic's maiden commercial flight? Any attempt to criticise them for being late is pointless without written confirmation of the answer to this!

True that. But look at it. We can get information from NGNG interviews, twitter, ATD, command chair updates, creative director updates, or random forum post. There is no centralized place where we can look. I would think you would agree that this can lead to problems. AND, the first thing you see on the home page is not the command chair update...it is the October CDU.

Less than 10% of the population even goes to the forums. In theory emailing the user base would probably be a lot more effective (plus remind those who left that the game is still around). Or a way to get news into the client front end, but that would obviously have to wait for UI 2.0.

Looks like my light-hearted conspiracy theory post about the MWO forums "getting removed entirely" was been removed within hours of posting it. Or did it get moved? Well, I can't find it now... Hmm. It was humorous attempt to get the community into an "I'm ok -your ok" conversation. And the last time I checked it was working well. I hope it didn't digress into something they HAD to remove - Or worse yet, the idea is hitting close to home.

Let's see if this gets the shaft too, for merely mentioning it here eh? Anyone in the know please inform me!

To tell you the truth Heffay, I don't care where they decide to do it as long as I have one place to look for all my development timeline information. If that is email then cool...Twitter fine...point me there and I will be happy. Well, happier.

Can I venture into crazytown here? What if they posted all the information on their own website, and then linked that information out via email, facebook, twitter, and on their own forums? For that matter, most websites actually link the news on the front page to the forum, so you could just have whatever appears on the forum be on the front news page! Then all the info is in one place, AND it all reaches the social media through the simple application of a hyperlink (the things the entire web was built on). Plus, it would give Garth something to do. According to Helmer's incredibly excellent Developer Tracker, Garth has kind of fallen off the face of the earth, which is weird for a community manager.

It's like this old thread is a hide-away for us... really sad really. I'm an optimistic guy by nature and really want this game to succeed from day one.

But my patience is not endless, and you have earned my melancholy.

It feels like now that you are magically out of open beta, that suggestions (I put that word lightly) from the "10%", from us, from these forums - Are just hot air to you now. It really feels like that, it really does.
