It could be ELO (I couldn't care less about my KDR and spend a lot of time just working up new mechs), although i play at any time of day or night.
I can understand being in a low ELO bracket for lights as i rarely play my RVN-3L so while working up the Commando's i expect to be up against low/mid ELO players, but in my heavies (especially the JM6-S) which i've played for a long time, i usually get one of the best match scores and damage done, but i never seem to be put with better players.
