Don't bash on capping. Capping requires great skill. You have to walk all the way from point A to point B. And then you have to stay at point B for a little while.

I hope they will never remove this brilliant strategy from the game.


No, seriously, capping plays an important role in this type of game. It provides a mechanic to force a team out of turtling at a defensive position. The problem, however, with each team having one base each is that a team that doesn't want to risk being capped can just stay at home, waiting for the enemy to arrive, thus negating the whole mechanic.

In World of Tanks there is a game mode, I think it is called Encounter, where there is just one base. Both teams have to make it to that base and fight for it. This enables no turtling, and promotes fighting for something substantial. I would like to see a game mode like that in MWO.

How about everyone agreeing with OP just go play deathmatch when it comes out instead of coming to the forums and complaining about how they don't like this game mode? That makes more sense to me.

You know the way life is in the days of twitter. Everybody feels a need to tell the world about every piece of **** that crosses their mind, and believes that their qq is more important than anyone else's opinion.
