Spiders. Broken?

Spiders, I believe, are broken.
I understand that games have bugs and such. I'm perfectly ok with falling through a floor every now and again or someone getting a really lucky shot. Whatever. Cool.
But spiders seem to be purposefully broken or bugged! I can't count the amount of instances when I've encountered the crazy godliness of spiders. I run a 2 guass 3 medium laser Illya. I've had so many instances of scoring a hit, seeing the guass hit animation, also hearing the sound, and then nothing happens to the spider! I'm beginning to believe that the devs have purposefully padded the spider hitbox symmetry and code to either negate damage or shrug a percentage of it off. Also the spread of damage on the spiders seems ridiculous!
How many times have we seen at the last of a game a zombie spider at 20% and it takes a full 2 minutes for a whole lance to shoot it down? I understand that spiders are meant to be annoying and slippery. But the amount of times when shots squarely hit and nothing happens is disgusting.
I feel like this needs to be investigated. If the devs could speak up on this that would be awesome.

It'll probably get fixed soonishly, as it's been definitively identified in video and acknowledged by the devs.

PGI should pay reparations by making the SDR leg hitboxes the size of an urbanmech.
At the very least bring the classy urbie cockpit item back for a sale and all is forgiven ;-)

A major problem with the discussion (and this isn't directed at you, Titan) is that people keep using the word "hitbox" but not always in the right context. Hit detection often has nothing whatsoever to do with hitboxes at all, and in most cases is just because HSR isn't working correctly and as such the game feels what should have been a hit is instead a miss, due to lag. HSR is supposed to correct this by compensating for lag, but it's not working terribly well currently.

I have no problem dying in either, if I make a stupid move. I also have no problem surviving in either, if I'm on the ball.
I have noticed I shrug off AC20 hits in my Jenner as much as my Spider. Often running straight at someone in a lapse of judgement, it only happens occasionally, but has happened in both.
I believe it is more to do with the size of hitboxes, causing the damage to spread around a bit more.
And is made worse for Spiders because they're such small mechs, so are very hard to hit anyway.
But my point is. I get out of stupid scraps, and deflect AC20's, in my Jenner.
Jenner hitboxes must also be broken.

The game is turning super bored by these spiders totally broken.
They can charge into the other team of 12 people and leaving almost alive without damage.
They stick on the ct and the damage is spread throughout the mech making it an incredibly low damage.
If they can not fix at this time should remove it until they can fix it.
It really is the most serious problem the spider at this point in the game, on the FPS lag and whatever else.
