1) If you click launch, have the basic decency towards others to be ready to play. Your kids/phone/google search/passive aggressive time wasting shouldn't be turned into everyone else's problem. Stop being inconsiderate to others before taking issue with negative reactions.
2) Do not take control of the team and rearrange lances. It does not change how people will play, it will not improve team performance, you are doing neither your team nor yourself any favours.
3) The ready button has introduced far more problems than it has resolved, therefore the mechanic is the problem and not the players.
4) I am seeing just as many, if not more, disconnects than I ever have at the start of matches. If this is supposed to be some resolution to that, it's a pretty pathetic one.
Do you have children?
So let's say you pick out your time for gaming, tell the kids to leave you be, wife is occupied / content, whatever, right?
Kid comes up and says "Daddy, I spilled juice." What do you do?
Option 1: Let Mom deal with it.
Option 2: @#$% kid I'm gaming!
Option 3: Set aside totally not-important GAME and help your CHILD.
I agree that, ideally, one should be able to plan their leisure time so as not to interfere with real life, but on occasion, real life intrudes, and we need to have our priorities in the right place.
The correct response to "oh jeez this guy is AKF now we're going to lose" is "Oh, well, let's have fun."
