It's highly recommended, as it helps us train and develop new pilots as well as pass along information.

We have many people who do not speak English as their first language. If you're really shy, don't worry too much about it, you don't have to talk a lot if you don't want to. But you should have a microphone for the few times when you must talk.

However, this might help you gain confidence in listening and speaking with other English speakers, so come join us some time and see how you like it
