A shout out to Mag...

And a salute to 'Tabu 73' it was nice running against you today...hope to get a chance to be on the same side soon...

Also an invite to all you other players looking to team up without all the Mumbo Jumbo some other units require...

We accept new and veteran players alike as long as you leave the attitudes at home....

see you on planet...

Goof...

The 201st Strykers. Your home away from, uhh... Other parts of your home. The kitchen, maybe.

THIS JUST IN!

The 201st Strykers are considerably better than anyone else you know probably at things you enjoy maybe and will be the best thing for you ever perhaps.

Apropos absolutely nothing, what's the new Firestarter like? I've been seeing a few running around, but so far they've failed to impress me.

New Firestarter is definitely not bad. It packs more punch than a Jenner, but tends to run a bit slower as a result. Dropping an AC/20 or a Gauss into the Ember or H works as a hilarious surprise for the unwary. The major downfall of the Firestarter is the big arms, which usually house most of the weaponry, getting blown off almost on a whim sometimes.

It's a great panicky twitch brawler like most lights, and is really fun to pilot, but it's not as fun as a Locust.

Message to all prospective applicants: You don't need to be insane to work here, but it might help you understand LoPan...

Man, what happened to the phrase "cuss like a sailor"? Afraid of offending some of us? ;)

It doesn't help as much as one might hope.

Locusts are fun! They really get the adrenalin going. It's kind of like playing a horror movie. YOU COULD BE KILLED AT ANY SECOND!

I'm kind of wondering how squishy the Banshee's side torsos will be, or if it will be more of an insta-hit on the center torso like the Awesome used to be (it does kind of look like the Awesome's big brother).

I'm still not sure about my Orions. I don't know if it's just because I haven't mastered them yet, but I don't feel like I'm piling on the damage the way I ought to...

I'm about three or four 'mech frames behind where I thought I'd be right now. I want to be working on Orions, Kintaros, and Firestarters (and now, Banshees), but I'm still working on my second and third Victor. I probably won't finish the Inner Sphere 'mechs that I need to get done before the Clans drop. How am I going to compete with the Clanners if I don't even have my 'mechs mastered?

Woo their women through use of contractions and capitalism.

I've read about their women. I think Natasha, Joanna, or Marthe aren't that likely to be wooed by that...well, Marthe anyway...

Not that I wish to belittle the monumental event that is the introduction of clan-tech, but I still think I'd be looking forward to it a little more if we'd seen some actual community warfare. In that regard, I'm almost excited about the introduction of turrets to assault maps...

They definitely change up the dynamic. I don't really see stomps nearly as much any more since injured 'Mechs can move back towards their base under covering fire.

Also, I could totally woo Marthe Pryde with my contractions.

"Talk dirty to me, freebirth."

"Don't wanna."

HOT MAKEOUTS!
