Wrong Black Widow, LoPan...funny how similar their descriptions are, though.

Speaking of the Black Widow, I wonder if I'll be able to mix and match omnipods on the Dire Wolf to get the right hardpoints to build the Widowmaker...

You know, since THERE'S STILL NO WARHAMMER IN MWO. :P

Do you really welcome casual players? A lot of teams say that, but then you play with them, or hit their website, and it's Armchair Napoleon central.

Here's the deal: I was with a big team back in closed beta. I'll spare you the big story and give you the TL;DR version: The team leaders sucked, (My teammates were pretty cool, though.) I left, and have a bad vibe towards "serious Business" teams since.

Unfortunately, the pug life has gotten so bad that this game is damn near unplayable for a solo. A lot of My pug buds barely play because of it, and I'm at the point where either I find a team, or uninstall. So I'm going to give team play another shot.

I'm not looking for a second job, I have no interest in being teh supr serius uber competitive 377t player, I'm not going to go through "training" and learn to shoot how you want, drive what you dictate, etc.
What I'm looking for are a solid bunch of fellas to have My back and play a video game with.

Is that the 201st?

I'd like to drop with you guys before doing the app process, a try-before-you-buy kind of thing.

We really do, feel free to swing by and check us out. There's no time requirements, it's really just more of a place to come and hang out and find a group to run some drops with. Bring whatever 'mech you want, with a build that's comfortable for you. Hell, bring that new 'mech in your bay that you're trying to get a feel for, we don't care. Our objective is to team up and have fun playing a game. Don't get me wrong, we still like to win, but there's no mold you have to fit to group up or anything like that.

Again, swing by www.201ststrykers.com, grab our TS info, log in, and give us a test drive. If you like what you see, please fill out an application so we can make sure you have full access to the forums.

Thanks for your interest and I hope to see you on planet. Cheers!

I'm one of the 201st's commanding officers, and I regularly decide to run a Locust with a single AC/2, or Firestarters with Gauss Rifles. There's no specific build or time requirements. There's no "Do what we say or don't play" attitude at all. When we run 12 Mans, which are entirely optional, we still tend to play it kind of loose without specific builds in mind, though we do prefer specific 'Mechs.

Mostly we run casual four man lance drops where the objective is to hang around having fun in giant robots more than it is to be the best of the best. We like to win, and we win more often that not, but we care more about whether or not our members are enjoying themselves than whether or not we're headshotting Cataphracts with Metabuilds from 700 meters.

Heck, swap out the black for green in our colour scheme and we're practically carrying the irish flag...
