Curious what the interest cross over would be from a tank simulator to another mobile armoured heavy weapon simulator would be.

Were any of you also active on the forums? Under a different name? You may/may not have seen me on the WoT forums under the name Fazar.

Got about 5,000 myself. I always kept thinking WoT reminded me of Mechwarrior 4 Mercs a bit. Kind of garage customization of your tank. Some choice of weaponary(early on auto cannons vs regular cannons ect).

Yeah Skyrim kind of put a wrench into my play for a while, and I dabbeled in SWTOR a little myself. Kind of fallen back in with French Tanks though.

If MW:O was out right now; I'd drop WoT like the bad habit it is ;)
that said; I've been hooked playing it since close beta last fall O.o
I'm on my way out the door with WoT anway; the devs are terrible :\

Well, I play every now and then.

But I've been largely inactive as of late.

You can find me by my username, over there above my avatar.

Clan CO in WoT
Over 10K game in CBT and open
3 tier 10s
Just the little things :)
Currently Alpha testing WoWP and would like to test MWO also

WoT is not like MW4
You can do useful customizing in MW4
In WoT bigger is better 99% of the time

French tanks SU are not that fun till 8 heavy and 5 med
Thats when you get the auto loader
Learn to hide while u reload

I play WoT also not as much now, for the grind up to upper tiers is time consuming and expensive.

Closed Beta survivor here with a total of 15k+ battles.
Here's me hoping that MW:O will not turn out to be the same nation biased grindfest with abysmal dev-player feedback, draconian community management, blatantly overprized and game breaking premium content, flatout boring endgame, lack of game modes and abundance of RNG messing with skill, instead of rewarding it properly.

Cheers ;)

I played sinced closed beta which as roughly two years? Eh anyway talk about a game that had potential and turned into a fail fest.

Once the $$$ poured in from the player base the development team got fat and lazy and did the minimal amount now they focus has been on an aircraft and ship add ons which just looks like a fancy Battlefield series game that you have to pay to play. I think I had over 10,000 games in since the start and after 2 resets.

It would be best to avoid any parallels to that game.

Or learn from the mistakes ... transparency, honest and open-minded communication. Just a few things to name that can be done the right way. I got the impression that the game itself mainly catered to young, inexperienced players on developing markets with loaded nationalistic undercurrents that resulted in heavy bias and more than questionable balance and design decisions.

A lot has gone wrong since Closed Beta and in fact it is still a Beta. The only difference is that people are allowed/required to pay for accessing certain game relevant features.

I played WoT during the closed beta (( was fun rolling with those German tanks)) but after the official release I got a strange bug that forced me to reinstall so I just dropped it and saved myself for thousands of hours that were going to be focused on playing the game.

I decided to give it a try after hearing them bang on about it every week on the NGNG podcast. Done maybe 200 battles, good for a casual battle but I am getting bored now that takes ages to unlock next tank and am just sick of constantly getting dropped in battles with tier 7/8/9 tanks in my little tier 3 and 4 tanks where just get annihlated, once MWO launches it will be uninstalled, or sooner if world of warplanes released first.
