We just don't wage pointless wars killing billions of innocents anymore.

Fixed. :)

Only wars we do are to get back, what is rightfully ours.
Tell me, if someone stole your computer, wouldn't you go to police and demand return of it? :)

I have a more appropriate analogy. You had several puppies that you would kick and hit and starve. We relieved you of your abused and sick puppies, and allowed them to grow strong and healthy with care and attention. We merely relieved you of what you proved you did not deserve.

That's the reason they openly rebelled against you later? :)

I believe it was capellan guerillas placed there by sun tzu that instigated the rebellions (not exactly spontaneous). Furthermore - I don't remember too many of them running back to the arms of the confederation. Most seemed pretty content being independent.

Sometimes abused animals lash out at the hand that feeds. Cruelty from a former master can leave such lasting scars.

I am sure that this moral high ground you claim to occupy will serve you quite well in later years, when the Filtvelt coalition secedes from the Federated Suns. :)

Rattle your Katana's and let their music be death to our enemies.

Ummm, not to nick pick, but are you sure the sword in the Capellan logo is a Katana? It looks to me more like an arab sabire or Ottoman Kilij...

AFAIK it was changed from Katana to Dao sword by Sun-Tzu Liao limself as one of the symbols of his Xin Sheng politics.

Just letting you guys know I'm slightly more active again up in here. Would you guys be interested in following a MechWarrior Online "Let's Play" gameplay-focused video podcast when open beta begins? I'd be exploring almost all facets of the game with the exception of Lone Wolfing (lol), and my friends tell me I have a nice, deep, clear voice.... :P

Greetings one and all!
I thought this might be the best thread to introduce oneself to other warriors of the realm :D
Ive been a BT nut since the 80's. Im really looking forward to both this game and also tactics (Prob more so than online).
Tis good to see that others also enjoy the history and heritage behind this great house!! It shall be interesting to see if "CC"is able to hold its ground in game ;)

That's already answered. The real question is... how close to New Avalon can we get till devs interfere and place an invincible shield over it? :D

Also, welcome Polarice. Always nice to find other proud Capellan warriors. ;)

Greetings folks, MadCat_LE here  I may re-register under that name if I figure out how...that LE at the end has some short but glorious history behind it <_<

To all new Liao warriors, I say - you will be ridiculously outnumbered at all times but YOU WILL KICK ***! for us, there is no other way.
