Not having a number doesn't discount the statement that there are record numbers of concurrent users. What does the number give you if you had it? Would you believe it if you saw it?

Asking for the number is just a red herring. It is irrelevant. Either you believe that PGI is telling the truth on that statement, or you don't.

Who the hell said anything about truth? I just asked if you had a number.

Are you actually mad because they fixed the countdown problem? Grow up...

Fixed? Hardly. Now there's no point to it at all. May as well remove it all together. The fact that they changed it from being a big nuisance to a little one is annoying because it shows how incapable they are of making sound design decisions. Its a rant on their abilities much more so than a rant on the change itself. This game's design direction is a joke amongst me and my classmates; we study game design. In fact, PGI is something like the gaming industry's watercooler therapy topic ("Hey, at least we didn't make Duke Nukem Multiplayer!").

Why not just remove the damned button from random drops, and keep it in for 12s with like 40 seconds and no reset? Oops, that would be logical and keep the feature worthwhile without breaking pugs. My fault. Instead, we get more wasted development time to implement a bad feature, and even more wasted development time "fixing" it by making it useless in the first place. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use them and throw them away. There are tons of them around. Most are quite useless.

Like Avogadro's number. If it was avocado's number, at least it would have some value.

Hawken, Titanfall, hell any other FPS out there for most in the casual crowd. Unless you're a die-hard Btech fan there are other games out there that offer a similar experience with far more content unfortunately. That's a big misstep in my opinion on PGI's part but only time will tell. I hope I'm wrong because I've sunk enough money into this game that I don't want ti to fail regardless if how critical I am sometimes

Anyway, having "zero perspective" cracked me up because all of us have "zero perspective" when it comes to the inner workings of the game or the decisions PGI and crew makes.

Have a good one!

Unfortunately they made it a bannable offense to post or discuss the internal mechanisms or data files for the game on this particular forum. So it looks like your lack of perspective is ~working as intended~ just like the AC\2 chainfire heat penalty.

You should report all those posts in the Fan Art section then. It's full of people discussing that information and not being banned for it. You know, after PGI specifically posted doing so was ok.

Why don't I what? Be Happy? I quite am, thanks. Apply for a job with them? No thanks. Unlike the majority of people, I don't know {Scrap} about what it takes to make a game. I leave it to the professionals.

Well, it came from PGI through a tweet. But I'm sure you'll discount it as irrelevant.

You know what would TOTALLY be legitimate? A counter that was incrementing that was labeled "number of players online". Nobody would EVER doubt the validity of those numbers. It's like... a law or something.

*Kicks soapbox away* Im not here to discount anything so don't expect me to fuel your inner fire, I just enjoy making fun of that thing ever sense closed beta.

Here is another number for you, check it out, Less than 300 responded to the UI2 poll.
Lots of people huh, and this for the much anticipated feature it took over a year to develop.
More people than ever?.
Enjoy.

Oh my goodness. I didn't even notice I had a new badge to hang in my cockpit! If only I hadn't used a non-refundable source for my Phoenix package!

Ofcourse that was before the cbill nerf, the salvage nerf, and the UI two-point-...oh, but hey, it's not like there are hit detection problems, that would just make this miserable.

Thanks for reading!

You have zero perspective here. Do you realize the countdown was previously not a problem for oh, a year? Then they made it a problem. We shouldn't cheer that they've backtracked, although perhaps some mild golf applause might encourage them to one day roll back ghost heat.

You have some ******* gall. Iv been on board since mechwarrior 2 if anyone has perspective at the very least I do. IM GOING TO SCHOOL FOR GAME DEVELOPMENT FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!

Hope to see something good in December! :D
