Please god yes. An assault 4P with JJs. Just stuff in a 380XL, 10 MPLs, full JJs run into people's faces.
You can run 10 MPLs, 350XL, 2JJs and 24 DHS.

No reason not to have another one. Maybe a good one...

Also the heat penalty system would **** you up very very badly. Try to run a hunch with 9 MLs, you get the idea.

They are all in one arm... what's so OP about that?

Take out the arm, no more lasers and all the Li has left is some missiles. In other words, a perfect gimp for a Hero Mech.

I personally think it's greedy to want a second Victor hero when other mechs don't have one yet, and the Dragon slayer is a really solid mech.

I do. Hence MPL. Or just mix it up with ML, Or when they link them mix in a LL.

They would probably have to be split between at least 2 locations (maybe torso and arm)

This. We were making Chargers out of Awesomes back before engine restrictions. It almost kind of worked because of knockdown, but they were still pretty bad.

Full speed 8R with BrokenSplashDamage laden SRMs was about as good as that got in those days, still not that good.

Nothing says only one Hero per chassis (Dragon). I'd certainly like to see all chassis have a Hero before a second round begins, but with PGI's pattern for large and assault heroes (for the income) this is feasible.

Feasible yes, likely no. Battlemaster would get one before because they know it would sell well, and it would be even more expensive. Currently it looks very much like they're doing the Founders mechs heros however. They mentioned they'd be doing this a while back IIRD so...

Honestly I don't even remember the last time I saw a DS. And do tell why the DS is good.

Not with 24 DHS. Efficiency around 40%. Or you can mix LL and ML and an STD.

That'd be pretty cool, right?

Not since the days of the 7 MPL Awesome have we seen such a combination of mediocre, short ranged firepower with massive armor. Slow novelty light builds will quail in fear!

You do realize you can take PPCs with MLs as backup for example?

I'm fairly sure we will get two hero variants for every assault mech before we get one hero variant for every light mech.
