Well, people can get a souped up Jenner for the $7 MC bundle so not a bad deal. They can also grab the Cent/Dragon + Jenner for $15.

(in before "never buy non-hero mechs with MC!" )

^Seriously. That's a phenomenal deal and starter package for anyone new to the game, especially grabbing the Jenner for such a solid mech AND a 300XL.

If you're a new player reading this, DO NOT BUY NON-HERO MECHS WITH MC

The XP bonus is useless, you'll get enough XP to elite any mech in the game by the time you grind enough CBills to buy the next variant.

This is only for golds with more money than sense.

One thing that I have wondered... do you have to Level-Up a Champion Jenner-F if you already have a leveled Jenner-F?

I don't know if Champions have to be leveled independently of their basic counterpart... the 10% XP boost would make the Champion Jenner-F a nice replacement for my standard Jenner-F.

The Champion is the same variant as the standard variant. Only Hero 'Mechs have a different tree for the chassis. So your Jenner-F uses the same tree as the Jenner-F Champion 'mech.

The XP bonus is not useless, it gets you bonus GXP as well. Champion mechs also come with near-optimal loadouts. As far as your comment about "golds", jealous?

Just my opinion, but each sale should have mechs and colors. Gives those not in the market for the mechs on sale something to pick up.

Let's get some colors on the board...I say..Blue...need blue colors added to this sale!! Let's make it happen!

I know it's functionally the same Mech, but I just don't know if they literally use the same Pilot Tree.

To offer a dissenting opinion... I think the JR7-F© is a great deal. That build would take over 10 million C-bills to put together from scratch; for just $5 you save yourself 20-25 hours of grinding. Sure, if you can play all day and generate millions of C-bills effortlessly then it doesn't make sense to pay real money for it... but if your time is limited then this is a great light mech to start your collection.

Agreed it's a lovely mech to play right out of the box and it comes with one of the most versatile XL engines in the game.

I can't speak for the other fits as I don't own them.

Can't expect a sale that fallows the stomping dead to be as shiney but, well this ones going to need a LOT of polishing. Never been a big advocate of Champion mechs, especially now that the original mechs are getting hero variants added gradually we can expect a hero jenner somewhere down the line.

Hopefully this means these sales are a success and that this company is making money

because

We are getting to be over a year behind schedule...

echo for the future? most likely.

A good sale for beginner, especially the Jenner.

Would have been more beneficial if the mech bays had a small 10%-15% off sale as well in my opinion.

It's good to see a sale for Champion mechs for once.

My only gripe is that you didn't consider selling camos or color for easy MC spending habits.
