Yeah I laughed at that since they put the VCR tubes in the animation.

That's a LOT of models, no?

46 ´mech chassis at last count.
Roughly the same amount of weapon systems.

So yes, a lot of models.

It is worth doing; look at the Cat - or the Cent - and tell me it's not worth spending the time to do it RIGHT.

The part of me that loves those mechs says, "Yeah, totally worth it. No question." The side of me that is a rational human being, on the other hand...

Oh, it will die when PGI steps up and fixes the Cat - and the rest of the 'mechs their horribad Lego-wannabe system has destroyed.

True. For some mechs the lego system works. For others like our beloved Catapult-C4 and K2 it does not.

as long as this thread exists, there is hope, hope for a better future, hope for a better Catapult, hope for better implementation, hope for better decisions and finally hope for a clue that PGI is learning.

i will not let this thread die.

Let's hope not. As long as the Catapult is unfairly punished, this thread needs to be a reminder to all.

I for one am glad the K2 is still nerfed, because the 90kph 500 armor 65 firepower Timberwolf needs more pinatas so that the easymode crowd can feel good about themselves.

Is there anything in this game more satisfying than entering a 1v1 duel with a clan heavy in my k2 and getting those Solo Kill credits? they should rename the guns to Ultra Combo 5's. if I had another two medium lasers...................

Will pay for "cosmetic" downgrade cockpit item to restore CPLT-C1 to former beauty.

Even though the original CPLT model is still an outright 25.64% too large, I would be willing to pay actual money to just restore the old CPLT-C1 model. Many of you know how significant this is, since I haven't ponied up one single solitary cent for anything in MWO since that one first show of faith, support, and appreciation my wallet and I made a fair while ago.

I would be willing to remove my signature and let the whole pillars thing go, if they put the missiles back in the missile racks.

Additional Armor (RA&LA) +20
LRM Spread -5%
SRM Spread -5%
LRM Velocity +5%
SRM Velocity +5%

CPLT-C1

Additional Armor (RA&LA) +10

CPLT-C4

Additional Armor (RA&LA) +10

Maybe pgi is starting to notice the big ears problem.

I took a drive with my A1 and it felt good once again. The changes are fine so far, however as I only boat LRM 5s I did not notice any particular new feel.

Also, please fix the geometry, as 60 pages still speak truth today.

What's hilarious is the Catapult gets it's overbloated missile arms even as the poor Jagermech has now had it's cannon arms amputated into stubs.

Dynamic de-struction continues, 60 pages later to terrorize new 'Mechs.

Is the A1 any good with srms now? i have only tried it with lrm5+a. the extra armour kind of works but the biggest problem is the CT.

The quirks would not be necessary if the arms were like the original size ones.

I created a poll in the suggestions thread. Let's see if we can't get the community centralized in one topic.

Hopefully we can get enough votes in the poll to at least get PGI's attention.

Don't be afraid, vote! Speak up, voice your opinion!

Do you want Mech scaling and weapons fixed? Vote here!

With the new Jagermech-A, (pic grabbed from Skyhammr

, we can see the new direction PGI are going with missiles. Would the people here be happy with:
A1 cat gets 3x of these new missile boxes side-by-side, taking up the same space as current box (all with scaled missile door)
C4 cat gets 2x of these, also side by side, for same space as old smaller missile box, again with a scaled missile door
C1 cat gets just 1 of these, but gets it mounted on it's side, for a slimline profile.
K2 gets PPC scaled to match Banshee PPC, and appropriate PPC quirks to cooling. Trade-off = NO Ballistic quirks.

Thoughts?
