Interesting ... I tried the AC40 build that was doing the rounds about a year ago, but didn't care for the lack of speed and ammo, so i ran with an AC20 and 4 meds for a while. Think you can do it with a 300+ engine, so it's at least a mobile 40pt alpha. Switched to the dual 10s as they fire faster and allowed for an XL and haven't looked back since (although i did try a guass cat for a little while - meh).

Yea, I found the Cat to be to ill equipped for the A/C40 setup and barely good enough for the dual gauss. The dual A/C10/4MLaser probably is the sweet spot for damage and performance.

every once in awhile (great while) i try one... the C1 one.... cuz at least it doesn't have cassette decks built in......

It needs to look more like the "more CT" IMO, even if they need to extend the side torso hitboxes a bit more. I just don't care for that CG Maddog posted.
As for the Timberwolf, eye of the beholder I suppose. I think it looks good. Only downside I see is the arms are a bit weird and she has some thunder thighs. Still, good looking mech as far as I'm concerned.

This does need to be addressed. They are GIGANTIC I would even say they are larger than the CT.
And intersting concept if they are going to stay that big. Make them the Torso's and just add the arm armor onto the boxes. In essence make the boxes have the armor of the torso and the arms combined.
Oh that would be wicked, but viable I think..
