As the CN9-AH rises from the grave so too shall the Catapult be restored to it's rightful place of grace and stature!

The mechs balance out with speed, firepower, armour and target size. A bad mech lacks the major part of those atributes, now think about the ones the catapult has.

Also look at the cockpit and You should see the scale of the catapult

This atrocity will not be brushed away, the treatment to this iconic mech has been too long, reset the pods or make new ones. This is the ultimatum we give pgi.

Indeed, good sir. INDEED

Can someone please explain one thing...
If the A1 has missile bay doors... that only cover one third of the missile bays, does the damage reduction work for the entire component, even if the launchers outside are hit?
Should it be possible to fire no-delay SRMs from the VCRs with the main LRMs behind closed doors, and still keep the damage reduction? I have a feeling that PGI knows this, and is overemphasizing the importance of the missile bay door damage reduction...

So, the guys from PGI said that they couldnt do anything else cuz they were focused on community warfare. Are they now? I hope its time to focus on two not less giant matters :P

Good question. Maybe put a srm2 in the ears and larger launchers outside to take advantage of the damage shielding without launch delay?

The scale of the Cat is completely off, especially compared to the KC. How can PGI ignore that?
Do they hate it that much?

Its not just the scale, its scale combined with bad hitboxes, artificially inflated ears that make up for even worse hitboxes and the constant nerfy nerf of lurms plus ecm inflation.

Please PGI, CW is out and while it still needs heavy work try to find at least some time to help the poor Cats.

Not trolling.. honest question.

Since it cost pgi money to make these changes, and most folk agree the old version looks better, have pgi explained why they did this?

No.

Better question: would it really cost pgi a lot to reverse the ears on the 'pault back to original models (that and then centurion gun arm maybe?), and leave the rest of the modular mech/weapon parts untouched until a better model setup could be brewed?

May as well post in this topic.

I only have the K2 - it was the first mech I bought. But levelling the A1 & C1 to master the chassis was a painful, painful experience. Try using 3rd-person view and all you can see are 2 bigass blocks sitting on top of what looks like a stub of a mech in comparison underneath. FUGLY!

We now have a 1000 reply thread about broken Catapults.

I have not seen this level of dedication since 3rd person was announced.
